Everything superb. Nice and warm, lovely lounge, most welcoming will certainly be using it again. Room 7 is lovely. Good breakfasts - staff friendly. Good strong shower, detachable from wall, good parking- NO COMPLAINTS at all - they couldn't do enough to please us. warm and friendly staff. Freedom to come and go without any time limitations to access accomodation. It was close to an underground station for easy access, and breakfast was very good. all reviews »
The breakfast was great. It was a full breakfast, tasty, and served in a very nice dining room. The hotel is a fair distance from central London, but with access to the tube a short walk from the hotel, it was not a problem for us. Location is slightly offside (Roughly 30 minutes from hotel to central London). Shower didnt work, and as we left at 5am there was nobody to tell. But sure they'd have tried to compensate had they known. Could do with some tlc and modernisation.Waking up in the night and finding the heater off!!. Bad shower, and could do with an update. The only minor gripe was that the pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. no smoking area. One problem we did have was that there was no Hot Water in the Hotel so had to cope with a cold water wash in the morning Not A Happy Guest. Plus TV in Room reception was Poor to say the least if any..No Offer of a reconpence was given at the time of complain. However i dont think the staff member was in a position to sort out the problem. Bedding was not tip top condition. room and bathroom rather small. choice of breakfast rather limited.anyway, for the price is ok. we stayed overall for a week, after a second return we both thought the sheets mighten have been changed. we had two different rooms and both thought the same thing, only 1 day.Breakfast, cold and very fatty. for people who have allergies the floor isn`t the most addequate;. rooms were not ready 2 hours after check in time. My room was quite small and the furniture was little bit worn. The room was too dark, very small bathroom, breakfast started too late (8am) as I has to leave early. the service was a little poor. tables left uncleared in dining room. No vegetarian option offered or pork free option. Not very clean bed linen, beds haven't been made the second day. it was olf fashioned, basic - like a 1960's timewarp. bathroom was pretty dirty, in need of a good bleech!.

The rooms vary in size but all have the exact same facilities. 9 rooms have an en suite bathroom with a washbasin, shower and toilet. Bathrooms are compact but everything is there. For those who prefer a bath, there are 2 bathrooms with bath/shower attachment and washbasin. These 2 bathrooms are shared by the 4 basic single rooms and the basic twin room. Additionally, there are 3 separate toilets. The basic rooms have a washbasin in the bedroom.
Travelling information
By train/underground: The locality is very well served by the London Underground system: Ealing Broadway is on the Central and District lines plus the mainline network and Ealing Common Tube is on the Piccadilly Line. From Ealing Broadway tube station :- come out of the station and turn left and walk down to the traffic lights. Cross over and go left. Take the first turn on your right into Windsor Road. Walk down here until you reach the mini roundabout and then turn right onto Grange Lodge and you'll find us about 100m along on the left. Both stations are at most 10 minutes walk away and thus the West End, the city, Heathrow airport and the main railway stations of London are all half an hour's journey or less.
By car: Finding the hotel by car is also quite simple, as the A406 North Circular Road (the inner London orbital road) is within half a mile. You need to get to the crossroads of the A4020 (Uxbridge Road - direction -Ealing) and the A406. Ealing Common (parkland ) should be on your left. At the end of the Common, at the traffic lights, turn left and follow the Common, keeping it on your left. Grange Road is the 2nd turn on your right. Go along Grange Road, over the mini roundabout and you'll find us about 100m along on the left.
