What people say
Staff amazingly helpful and friendly - naturally so, not a glossy professional act. Really genuine people; I felt very very much at home in a way that I don't normally in hotels. Price great. My own sink in the room. could open window from bed and lean into the air. Delightful.
Great to get your head down as somewhere to sleep no need to pay pricey London prices the lady on the desk was friendly and the room had what we needed would def use again for and overnight shopping trip. all reviews »
The location was amazing! Close to Sainsbury, tube station,
Mcdonalds, kfc and so on. The hotel was nice and clean. It had
housekeeping every day. The staff was nice. Our room was nice and
warm, and so was the shower. Overall it was a nice hotel, I'd
diffinately stay there again!.
It does what it says on the tin - you simply can't expect a lot for a central London hotel for £40 for three people.
Location is near to the underground. Towels and soap were provided. Beds were comfortable and clean.
It was a fab place for us to stay as all we wanted were beds to sleep in.
Location, very close to train station, staff friendly.
I liked the location and friendly staff.
It was exactly what I expected.
the location was fine.
location.
location.
The fact that the heat was still working was a positive thing, although it would have been great to have the possibility to switch it off, when needed. The location- around 3 min walk from the subway station was another positive aspect.
Location near the Earl's Court Underground station provides great access to all Zone 1 Underground locations. It is also within walking distance of Royal Albert Hall for concerts.
Nice and helpful staff — let us check in before 2pm which the time of their check-in; good location.
Receptionist was great and the location being so close to the tube was great.
Close to rail station.
Friendly staff.
only bed in the room is clean.
The hotel was near where the event I was going to.
Only plus was we were only there one night.
Great location for shopping in london.
Friendly staff.
Good location.
Near to tube , Price.
the location.
It was cheap.
Staff.
I would not recommend that anyone ever use this hotel. Accommodation is flithy. Mice are a problem. Noise levels intolerable.
The room had a bit more space than I expected for some of the tiny rooms in the area.
The location, though the price was still too high for the quality.
Very close to Earls Court tube station.
Pub at end of road.
nothing it was by far the worst hotel i have stayed in.
Very inexpensive.
Excellent location.
Leaving.
Friendly personal, clean bed and towels.
location - very near to tube station.
Nothing. Horrible hotel with mice.
almost nothing except the location.
I made it out alive.
That we left alive.
Location.
nothing.
Room was a bit smelly and hot.
Our first room had mice, we saw at least four of them, but as soon as
we told the woman in the reception we got another room - no extra
charge and mouse free! And our new room was a lot bigger than the first
one we had.
As per other reviews, the hotel does have a vermin problem. Mouse in our room. Lots of traps everywhere and the hotel look like they are attempting to address but clearly not for the faint of heart.
Just a one toilet for 3 rooms. Toilet was leaking water from the bottom when flushed. Rat traps all around. The door lock was falling a part. Window difficult to open. Corridor used as a storage.
The long climb to the third floor haha.
Pillows paper thin & room could've been vacuumed better.
Could not sleep becuase too noisy outside the hotel due to a truck was filling fuel or somthing.
Trains were noisy but managed a good night's sleep.
cleanness.
mices ! shared bathroom for all the floor , dirty.
The less positive thing about it was the so called existence of mice. They were strange noise during night and one of the people living in the room next to us, complained about seeing one in her room. And also the smell of old!.
The back of the hotel faces rail lines with a train going by every 1-2 minutes. With ear plugs and noise-supressing headsets we got to sleep OK. Also, staff could not seem to keep the shared toilet/shower stocked with toliet paper. The experience was like camping!.
Somewhat sleazy; no internet.
Rodents, Train line outside window which runs 24/7 and makes it impossible to sleep, Dirty, Pellets all over floor (poison for mice I assume), plastic cups for tea the type you'd use for a childrens birthday party, very very old tv, very very old and dirty furniture.
shared bath room isnt always clean
room isnt clean arart from bed room.
noise outside, which makes you difficult to relax and sleep.
Having no toilet paper and the noise of the tube trains going on all the time.
We have never stayed at a more dirty and dreadful hotel in all our lifes. The room was small with different colour carpets per section of the room. There was a poison trap in the corner for rats/mice. There were tea stains around the sink. Window over looked the tube track so even as it was a hot night we couldn't open the window for the noise. The room was that awful that we slept with the light on. These budget places really need to be regulated better. I would close this place down.
Only a few inches away from the underground line, very old style hotel, shared bathroom not very clean.
Mice.
Horrible room.
Nonfunctional showers.
Dirty, needs decorating , broken stuff, trains going past all night needs double glazing ,.
the noise.
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There was a mouse trap
under the bed the matteresses were ripped the room was dirty . the staff
were actually very rude as they asked us to leave due to not likely our
sorts in the hotel. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is gay
or into the alternative scene.
Everything.. Located next to railway very noisy to late Nite and early morning even on Sunday. I suggest to install DG window and sound compact window.
Filthy; terrible value for money. Room not suitable for an operating hotel. Noise levels unacceptable. The hotel should not be allowed to operate.
I was directly over the train tracks--every minute or 2 a loud train came by. Luckily it was quiet from midnight to 5a.m. Also the reception charged me twice and it is not yet resolved. I knew he swiped the card twice when the paper ran out in the machine, but there was nothing I could do about it.
I found an empty can of cider under the bed as soon as I walked in,
which set the tone really. The room would be good for terrible
1980's porn films, if there was a layer of smoke in the room, except
that the beds were so uncomfortable that it would probably hurt!.
Risk of disease. Didn't use the shower because the strong smelling drain made it unusable. Noise from trains made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. If you think "it can't be that bad" believe me...it can. I would not stay here again even if you paid me to.
I have nothing good to say about this hotel. it was disgustingly dirty. there were mice in our hotel room only to realize this late in the night that there were mouse traps laid throughout the hotel including our room. under the dirty bed and also spaced around every corners of the room. We could barely sleep as there were mice jumping on the beds to running around the room. I couldn't wait to leave the place.
Tube line may as well be running through hotel - so loud.
Irate guests shouting at staff re the state of the hotel.
Fire exits full of linen bags - disregard for legislation and safety. Lack of repairs and PAT tests. Most uncomfortable matress ever. I could go on...
Train just behind the window, not clean bathroom, can hear your neighbors.
terrible quality of rooms - horrible mattress and bed. filthy bathrooms. prolific mold growing everywhere + various other serious health issues. There was rat poison in full view. I arrived at 10.30pm and had to walk 10mins to another hotel to get the key. A really shocking hotel.
It was like a squat with a mattress that was so worn the springs hurt us. The kettle didn't work nor did the tv. The shower had no hot water. There are no staff after 10pm so nobody to help. There were several mousetraps in our room. I am a seasoned traveller and this was the worst budget hotel I have ever stayed in worldwide.
everything seemed to be bad except the staff. the shower in the shared bathroon on the 3rd floor did not work. The sink in the room was dirty. The room looked run down... can carry on....
It was dirty, rotten, I got no sleep, the bed was awful, the staff could not understand a word I said, I complained and got nowhere. I asked for toilet roll and got kitchen roll. I got no sleep! I will never go near this place again.
Everything. Couldn't sleep with the underground constantly going by
and the flith of the room...
The room was very dated the curtains didn't cover all the window there was a hole in the shower cubicle and the tv and digital box were both wired into one plug with a connection half way up one of the wires, which in my opinion is not only dangerous but also a fire risk. hotels like this one should be regulated and required to meet sustain standards to be able to supply accommodation, I also think letsbookhotel.com should remove this hotel from its listing. I will never be staying there again.
the place was dirty! we found a mouse in the room at 3am and there was no staff in until 7.30am so we had no help to move rooms we just had to sit in the hallway until someone came in to sort out a refund so we could move hotels which I'm still waiting for!.
so many rats, it is horroble.
not clean
not water
poor bed.
The place has rat traps all around the floors, we found 3 in our room!
Says no smoking, next door neighbour was smoking and we could smell it as if it was in our room! Carpet not stuck down properly, also the train line was right out our window, trains running past every 2 minutes like clock work till 1am. We moved out before our 3 nights were up!
This place should be condemned....
Had to go to another hotel to check in it was cold and raining where not
giving a address but just quickly a direction where to go we got lost
and walked for 40 min! Address ever go there again.
Everything, absolutely disgusting. The bed was the most uncomfortable
bed I've ever slept in. The spring were sticking in my back all
night and in the end I ended up sleeping on the floor only to wake up
next to a rat poison box! The carpet was flee ridden and I left the
hotel feeling very itchy - disgusting!!!.
