Warm and clean. Hot shower day & night. Staff were exceedingly helpful when I managed to loose a wallet and phone in a taxi home! Thank you all for your help. Would recommend to anyone wanting this area,. Breakfast was above average. Excellent value. Room was nice but simple. A bit of a walk from the tube but the number 8 bus goes past and straight downtown. For the price, this was a nice place. Very cool town, very cool little place. Delicious breakfast.

The stairs are narrow and the old carpets. I hate the fact that my room wasnt cleaned up for three nights except the first night. I was also disappointed to discover that the sky tv in the room has gone out of subscription. You can only watch few news channels nothing else. It wasn't the cleanest hotel I've even been in, but for one night it was good enough. Receptionist was quiet rude, was speaking on Skype while checking us in. The Young Guy was talking on the Phone while taking our breakfast order. The sauages tasted a bit funny. the hotel. Breakfast times were not convenient to my commute into the city. A visit to my GP upon my return home was required to get prescription cream for the bites. I stayed in room 117. I would certainly not recommend this hotel to anyone. Noisy from 6am with the market stalls setting up outside our window Room needs updating, especially the bathroom which was very tiny and not very clean 1.2 miles from Bethnal Green tube station. It was not so clean, and there was no shower pan tub, just the shower rose, and a simple drain on the floor of the bathroom. Small room without anything nice to it, you will not want to spend more than 1 night there Warning, there are two 'City View Hotels' on Roman Road, this one is located at its very far end. I got a room with a window, but my room was downstairs and I did not get any light. The room was beyond basic. Bizarrely, there was a fridge and kettle, but no cup, no glass, nothing. There was no plug in the washbasin, no shower curtain. Avoid this hotel!!!!! The advertised pictures are not what you get. I have booked a double room and paid for this and They gave me a single room as i was Alone. I asked them but i realised That money was more important than customer satisfaction. so I booked for a double bed and I got a 5 square meter room With a ridiculous bed and bathroom With toillet in 2square meter. The Area is not really safe by Night and 20 minutes walk to the metro. Really one of my worst experience in London. No window in the room, sticky air in the night, water pot and shower not clean. 1. to hot in the room 2. no airco 3. very small room 4. breakfast very late, starting at 8. Evreything was awful. Anoying sounds you cant sleep. The room is very small and smell smoke. Very far from underground station.
