the location was spot on , for our stay , theatre and shopping, the staff deserve praise, they were very friendly and very helpful, they made the stya more enjoyable as we felt we were not just another face passing through. A lovely touch ,in our room amongst the usual facilities , was fresh furit and water. We booked romance pakage and it was just wonderful. Service was very good and kind. the breakfast was nice and the bed the best of all. We were very happy to find out that internet was free through the TV room. The location could not be better.

Very recently renovated, room was top drawer, and location of hotel for the evening show and dinner afterwards was absolutely top drawer. It was so relaxed. The staff were charming and even though our room wasn't ready on time it didn't matter. The room was clean and had all the facilities we needed.Well located, clean room, good-sized room, free internet access, reasonable cost, friendly staff, good service. Well located, efficient rooms with everything you need in a small space including high speed internet. Excellent location. I felt like a tourist 60 miles from where I live. Lift rather slow. fronting onto Shaftesbury Ave means it's a bit noisy. Buffet breakfast was very overpriced (15 pounds/person), but tasty. Only one elevator.I was led to believe the room would have a 4 poster bed, this was not the case so maybe you could review the room description as the pictures show a 4 poster bed. The internet was not working in my room and I had to ask to use the one downstairs to check-in my flight home.The lifts were broken. The heating in the room was on all night and it did get too warm. The noise at night but understandable we were in London. small room. I had booked a package which should have included a bottle of champagnein the room , this was not there and I did not have time to query thisas I had activities booked around london as it was my husbands 50thbirthday. This was a big dissapointment.our room wasnt properly cleaned after the first night. I enjoyed my stay; no negative comments.It would have been nice if the hotel bar had stayed open much longer,9pm is to early to close. The reception area is small with limited seating when waiting for a taxi or friends.the foyer was rather soulless, not in keeping with the warmth of the hotel. very small room, just accurate space for the bed. on arrival we were initially asked to change hotels. This was not acceptable but the staff did sort this out. front rooms bit noisey. Unfortunately my room was at the front of the hotel on the 1st floor. I was up and down all night due to the noise outside.The only critisisum I have about the room is that it was over crowded with furniture, the headboard was very nice but very imposing and to big for the size of the room. A head board that was mounted to the wall would have freed up alot of space in the room. the noise of the streets.maybe there is something to be done with the window isolation. but is not a big deal.
