Friendly staff and really enjoyed the quirky period features of the hotel.
I just wish I'd eaten there as popped across the road before reading about their wonderful chef!
I can't add much more as up at 4:00am the next day to ride a sportive so literally used the place as a bed for the night.
I'd use it again if back in Llangollen at any time.

Wonderful old drovers inn - full of 16th century charm and quirkiness. Loved the log fires the food the friendliness and the beautiful rural location.
Fantastic hideaway in the Welsh countryside. Not only were the staff in the Hotel friendly, but everybody in the village. Would definitely go back.

Location, setting, and building itself was interesting.
Rather eccentric shower with clear glass cabinet in full view of the bedroom - no door or curtain to offer privacy - my friend and I had to stay at the other end of the twin room while the other showered.

Room decor a little dated but didn't worry us, would have liked bottle water in the room, requested decaff tea/coffee in the room not provided.
Shower could have done with a hook to hang it off the wall at head height - otherwise cannot think of another snag!.
The room was a little small but that is probably because it is a pub with accommodation. However, it was a very pleasant stay.

Children's bedroom was over Kitchen, and was very warm as a result. When we said about, we were told that cooking in the Kitchen would stop around 10pm, and it should get cooler then.

The Bellingham is a private dining room which is perfect for small numbers and accommodates up to 6 people in comfort. In addition the main dining room caters for 30.
