Beautiful Art Deco refurbishment, attention to detail was outstanding.Excellent breakfast and all staff were very friendly, polite andhelpful. Only £11 for a taxi back from the Albert Dock too (consideringhow much we saved on the room rate compared to central hotels we weredelighted!) Will use same hotel again.Everything! It was a nostalgic visit having been born and bred in Liverpool and lived not too far from the Airport. Amazing to see the transformation from a terminal building into an Art Deco Hotel. Comfortable, relaxing, close to familiar ground although much has changed in 20 years!.

Everything from the efficient booking in, too the elegance and comfort of the rooms, too the service at the bar and the mannerisms of the staff, very professional, my second stay and looking forward too calling in again in the near future. Thank you all very much.Staff were always helpful and friendly. Lovely rooms and a great breakfast. Easy travelling in and out of Liverpool from park and ride down the road and cheaper than paying for car parking in the city.Staff were extremely helpful and pleasent, the rooms were very comfortable and it was a welcome refuge after being stranded in the airport when our flight did not go out due to bad weather. when we arrived there was no TV in the room the staff immediately moved us to a different room with access to the Executive Lounge as way of an apology. The staff were extremely helpful. The first room we were in had no shower head so we were upgraded to executive room. Reception staff were extremely helpfull and friendly throughout our stay.Very comfortable hotel with all the facilities to be expected from a major hotel chain. Art deco and aviation theme enhanced the surroundings.the staff were so friendly, nothing was too much bother, even offering an extra chair for my daughters teddy for breakfast.The Reception Staff were fantastic. Welcoming and could not have been more helpful. Rooms and services were impeccable. the staff were very helpful in every way and couldn't do enough for us to make us comfortable.The way the hotel has retained the art deco feel of the originalbuilding - terrific!. A tricky dilemma, as hard beds can be unpopular with others. Unfortunately when booking this is not something that can be pre arranged should the beds differ throughout the hotel.Dinner in restaurant was a bit expensive but of a good standard.Courtesy phone at airport was not answered at hotel got arriva bus whengot to hotel reception was very busy had to wait 30mins! Car parking cost, was not advised prior to stay only when I checked out.in the room i was staying in there were empty cartons of milk in the room underneath the cupboard were the tea/coffee facilities were that were never lifted otherwise the romm was first class.I would recommend this hotel especially if you wanted to be near the airport - taxi fair from football pitch about 17 - 20 pounds -. Being aroused at 7am on a Sunday morning after a heavy night out when the fire alarm activated. Overrun by footie fans before the big match with Chelsea, lots of people travel from Ireland, if that isn't your cup of tea, then book when Liverpool have an away match.The bed was a litle too soft for our liking. Prices at the bar - very expensive, straight forward profiteering!. Breakfast charge - I know 'standard' pricing but in some waysprohibitive for a low room rate.We were put in a room with a very noisy air conditionting vent outside the entrance to our room which kept us awake, they moved us to a quieter room late at night which was fair enough but we were told the hotel was not full and we should not hve been put in that room.Check out at 6 am. Only one person on the desk and a number or people trying to check out. I gave up in the end as I had a plane to catch, like most people who stay there.Some of the staff a little lacking in finesse One was quite rude as I asked him to turn the public rooms TV down/off - all the public rooms had the same TV blaring out and yet no one was sitting in any of them. Once the TV was turned off the one room that was now quiet filled up very quickly. the bed was beyond use,we had to lift the matress off the base and sleep on it on the floor.The food was just about edible and would give a two out of ten mark for this also dinner was very very expensive for what it was.
