If you don't like - The staff were incredibly friendly. The Hotel is very well positioned with excellent links to public transport. We were using it for ease of access when going to West Ham for football and its about a 30 min walk. Excellent food outlets throughout Stratford. Very reasonable prices and large choice when using the Hotel bar. Breakfast very adequate (fresh fruit,cereal) before moving on to freshly cooked items which you can tell are all freshly prepared.   Great hotel was in a great location for where we wanted to be. Good trAnsport links either bus or overground. Hotel has a pub underneath that is huge and full of character. Had to admit then I was worried it would be rough before we walked in, but the staff were lovely, very friendly and even met some of the locals who were great.   It's a cross between a hotel and and apartment which allows you to be very flexible with regard to cooking your own meals, getting a takeaway (which can be delivered according to the literature in my room) or going out to one of the many eateries at the Westfield Centre which is where the hotel is located.   Upon arrival, it was clear to see the hotel was clean and fairly luxurious (Especially for a 'Holiday Inn'!). The staff were friendly and helpful, with the room cleaned regularly, with free water and chocolate each day (at least I think they were free!). Especially at night; looking over the Olympic park, docklands and the o2. - Large rooms, excellent beds, coffee and tea facilities in room and good bathroom. Quality of breakfast and room service also excellent, and on top of it all, slam opposite Europe's largest shopping centre, with almost every central London shop available. Ideal location for both shopping as well as a quick underground trip (20 minutes by central line) to the centre of London and its attractions. ALso very convenient to get to City Airport and Southend Airport.
