We particularly enjoyed being able to use the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym and the driving range went down a real treat. Really impressed with the room size even after accommodating an extra bed and all amenities covered, even an iron and ironing board. Excellent service, friendly staff, nice atmosphere in hotel bar, lovely room and hotel location. I had a very good weekend.Lovely sized room even with 2 smaller beds for the children. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good value for money!.

The food was excellent as was the service. Good location [apart from the present road construction]. Good size rooms and excellent overall facilities. I liked hopw close it was to Drayton Manor Park as that was the purposeof our visit.Ease of parking and friendliness of staff and cleanliness of rooms. All staff were friendly and very helpful. clean, friendly and efficient. we selcted this hotel as it was near drayton manor. Helpful staff and good facilities. A warm welcome is always very important and the lady on reception didnot let you down. Good to have a choice of two different menus. The bar meal prices were extortionate and the time taken to serve the food was terrible. We had to wait nearly an hour from the order being taken to the food arriving at the table. Also would have liked a smokers shelter away from the main entrance as we felt this was a bad reflection for new arrivals checking in.Quite busy swimming pool but probabely anybody could expect this on Saturday afternoon. The information regarding the free wireless connection needs to be clearer. Changing the password at 18.00 is not acceptable, this should be done earlier in the day so guests checking in during the pm have a constant connection. User na,e and password is also over complicated.Found the prices in the restaurant and for room service expensive. golf was not fully available (because of the weather). Staff at breakfast could have been more helpful and not visibly annoyed when people turn up with 15mins of breakfast left. The quality of the evening meal was poor.I think single female guests should automatically be given first floor rooms, for security reasons. I was tired when I arrived, however, and didn't make inquiries about changing. The double bed was a little lumpy but our room had not been updated. The twin room was excellent though and had new flat screen tv on the wall. Not as clean as a 4-star hotel should be. Some stains on carpets, but more worrying our tablecloth at breakfast was filthy! —Unforgivable! Room dusty. Menu needs to be changed more often than weekly ot offer a larger range. Breakfast must offer more than an English Breakfast. Fish and Continetal. No, but we expected a higher spec for the price. Also we had to remove a flickering light bulb, and the cold tap on the bath didn't work well. Nothing major though. The only problem was the shower door would not close and the shower control was broken otherwise everything was ok.Bar choice very very limited. Too hot - no aircon in the hotel. Very soft bed. The hotel is a bit tired and needing an upgrade.

By Road: From Dunton Island (Junction 9 M42), proceed along the A4097 towards Kingsbury for a little over a mile, taking the second turning right into Haunch Lane. Turn right again after approximately 150 yards. If travelling north along the M1/M6 route, leave the M6 at Junction 4 and take the A446 to Tamworth/Lichfield until you reach Junction 9 M42, then proceed as above. By Rail/Air: Birmingham International Station and Airport are less than 10 miles away and have direct access to the M42 motorway.
