Incredibly spacious double room (bigger than some studio flats) with a
very high standard of decor throughout - lots of marble and ceramic
tiles, a large bathroom and a shower so big you could hold a party in
it! Makes other hotels look cheap and shabby by comparison. And all for

Everything about the apartment is perfect. They provide everything a
home away from home need for. The location is walking distance from
Victoria Station and very convenient. Being a Muslim, we were happy to
find an Asian store in Upper Tachbrook that sells halal meat and other
Asian sundries. A Tesco outlet is just 3 doors away from the Asian store
and this has given us an advantage of cooking in the evening.

All the staff were polite, helpful and very friendly. I would definitely stay at the Rubens again, our room was recently refurbished and was in excellent condition. The staff on reception were exceptionally helpful on our arrival and allowed us to check in 3 hours early and parked the car for us. We had just arrived from a business night in the Intercontinental Park Lane and taking away the fancy veneer in the room the City Inn was every bit as good (if not better). - Liked the fact that all the little extras

There was a computer in the room and broadband was free. I wish I had known about the complimentary tea/coffee/cakes which were out of view in a cupbord in the room and I only found out later when booking out.

Nice check in experience - after asking staff about our welcome bottle of wine it arrived on ice to our room within minutes. An excellent way to start a night out. Room service was reduced by 25% between 3 and 5pm so had some food too. King Prawn Ceasar salad was great. Don't expect a great river view unless you have paid extra, perfect location
