  The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They did all they could to make sure we had a lovely stay. The hotel is very central and the ideal place for a shopping and/or leisure trip. A+++ - Was a little apprehensive at earlier visitor feedback on food noise etc left prior to visit which was completely unfounded. Food and service in general was excellent, location very good and secure car park. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at very reasonable room rates. Ate in bar and restaurant and both were very good. nice breakfasts as well.

  I really appreciated Steve's email letting me know about the free bus from the rail station to the city centre, as well as all the local info that he gave me about Derry on my arrival at the hostel. I was upgraded to a two bed room at no extra charge, which was great. This is a very comfortable & centrally located hostel. Great small hostel with a very sociable common room for meeting fellow travellers. Well kept rooms and the facilities were great for self catering... Nothing better than free tea!   Many thanks to the hosts -we had a lovely time at Victoria Gate B&B. The hosts are friendly and very helpful in every way. As soon as we arrived we were offered afternoon tea and scones (a really nice touch). The property was in a nice location overlooking the city and a lovely new house. Needless to say, The b'fast was great too with quite a variety - including the full hot b'fast - very nice. - Awesome B & B - amazing value. This is a new house and it is very modern and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The room was my favourite of all the other B & B's we stayed in over 18 days in Ireland. The owners were very friendly and spent time to chat with you. I was sorry I didn't book this for an extra night. Breakfast was amazing with a lot of options.
