    The most outstanding feature of Garfield Guest House is the staff, all of whom are friendly, flexible, and helpful. Within half a mile, there are a few takeaway restaurants, - Martin and Michelle were absolutely amazing! Really easy going and friendly. They went above and beyond to help us with our trip and to make sure we were comfortable with our stay. The breakfasts were great and they even made other guest's meals that weren't even on the menu!! They both work really hard and long hours and always have a smile on their faces. They made the start of our trip to Edinburgh.

    Located a short walking distance (10 - 15 minutes) from the heart of Edinburgh, Craigmoss Guest House is very convenient for sightseeing, eateries, pubs and shopping. On our arrival, seeing my husband had a disability our room was immediately changed to a first floor room from a second floor room, without even asking. Molly and Roxy the family dogs were adorable and very friendly. We have no problem recommending and staying here again, fantastic.

    Walton was extremely functional and efficient in busy Edinburgh. Visitors intending to spend more time out of the room than in will find it fuss free, clean, and functional with a touch of comfort. The family room was great.     We are a family of 6, with children ages 2, 8, 14, and 17. We stayed at the Thistle Street Loft. This provided the best value for our family. Jon was also very accommodating to our needs. We were suppose to arrive after lunch, but due to delayed flights, we didn't arrive until after 1AM! He was quick to respond to our text messages when we did need something. The loft - We had a great time in Edinburgh and Innercity lets was a great place to do it. Very clean, spacious and we'll equipped. Jon is very friendly and professional. He is your own personal concierge. Just an email or phone call away. Well located in new town with lots of restaraunts, shopping, and parks close by. Less than a ten minute walk to the Royal mile and castle.

    Staff were friendly on arrival and made everything very easy for myself and my partner even though it was a busy time with everyone checking in in time for Scotland Vs. Ireland at the 6 nations. Our room was ready on arrival and we couldn't have had a better room! We stayed in room 8 (highly recommended!) which, being on the top floor, had a stunn... what people say » ing view of the castle which matched the equally impressive interior of the room! We had an amazing sleep in the seriously comfy bed and woke up fresh - We (my husband and I) stayed in BB 3 nights. It was a very good experience. People here is very friendly and willing to help for anything. Our room is designed so amazing as Scotland style. It's also excellent with the price you pay. We strongly recommend visitors staying this beautiful and good -serviced BB.

    The location is great; 10’ walk to the castle and plenty of local restaurants around. We were two couples and after reading some reviews, I had my reservations about the sofa bed. Especially given that I am quite toll (1.9mts - (6.3 feet). However both my partner and I fit comfortable, sleeping very well throughout the night. It was a brand new so... what people say » fa bed so that may explain some of the previous reviews. - Great value for money with an excellent location to visit the city attractions. Clean and well equipped with towels, shower gel, kitchen appliances (including a steam iron) and free Wi-Fi. There was a brand new sofa bed in the living room. It was huge (about 2 metres wide) it felt like a bed and we had a good night sleep without problems.

    the staff were very helpful. they gave us a very big room and it was on the first floor which was very helpful considering i'm pregnant and had two young children with me.there is a bar in the hotel which allowes children in it so if you fancy a drink you can relax with your children.
