  Friendly staff who went out of his way to place us together which resulted in an upgrade. Booked months ago & got really good deal. Parking car for us was worth paying extra for. - The location, the large room, comfortable beds, warmth, ease of walking to places of interest, lovely breakfast, friendly staff, great room service food.   The hotel is situated really centrally in the heart of Covent Grd. The staff at the reception, friendly and polite, took trouble to arrange us a wished for quiet room. The room as well as the bathroom were good-sized and comfortably furnished. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of food and was not too expensive. Altogether we enjoyed our s... what people say » tay very much. - Clean and well kept hotel with an absolutely unbeatable location at this price and standard. Easy access to Covent Garden (four minute walk) and the West End (ten). Tons of bars and restaurants nearby; or grocery stores if you're staying in. I've stayed a few times; quality is consistently very good and staff always friendly. I always wonder what the catch is.

  The room was wonderful but in part that was because I had 6/7 (both) access to myself. With only a small room on its own - even with an excellent bathroom - I would have found it too small for C21st expectations. On the other hand, the staff(a manager?) was wonderful, including letting me use the breakfast room to do some emails etc. and next morn... what people say » ing breakfast was outstanding!! Yes I will be back. It was definitely as described and definitely not a flat pack chain hotel room. It's position in w - So many hotels are identical, and I stay in a lot of hotels! It was really nice to have something that was out of the ordinary for once, yet still in a good location (right next to Kings Cross station) and with functionality ... free wireless etc. A great breakfast, an extremely helpful and courteous staff, overall it made a very good impression.
