  The room was comfortable. The hotel was central for shops, restaurants and theatres which was the reason for our visit. We stayed on a room only basis so I am unable to comment on the dining facilities. - One of the best hotels we have stayed at in this country, at a very reasonable price.   Stayed for Depeche Mode concert at the F.D Arena across the road, so the location was excellent. the room was very clean and comfortable. For anybody wanting to stay somewhere for events at the Leeds Arena, I couldn't recommend this highly enough. Apart from this, it's a very straightforward walk up from the station and not too far at all, so eve... what people say » n for any other visit to Leeds, this hotel is very convenient. I wouldn't hesitate to consider using this hotel again. - The staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. My daughter celebrated her birthday whilst we were staying at the hotel and the staff on duty were wonderful and made the evening special for her. The room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel is in an excellent location. The flexibility of leaving the bags at the hotel on check-out day whilst we enjoyed some more time in Leeds was also appreciated.

  The staff are truely excellent at this hotel and did everything in their power to make me feel comfortable as a single female traveller. The room was lovely and I particularly liked the idea of the honesty bar in the lounge area. Super service, super room and fab breakfast - an altogether very enjoyable experience. Although we were very pleased to receive an upgrade, we were worried that there would be noise from the road but were very pleased to see that the nightclub seems to have closed down.

  This was our second stay here. Great staff, nice décor a super location - 30 second walk from the train station and sits right in the thick of the shopping area! The recent addition of a bar area was a welcome treat to replace the tiny honest bar which now meant pre-dinner drinks and night- caps were possible.   I arrived about 12.30am in the morning, but the staff were very helpful & friendly, as I needed to park in the hotel carpark across the road. The room was tastefully decorated & relaxing. The bed was large & comfortable.There was a coffee machine & hot drink making facilities. A nice touch was the fresh milk in the fridge. The bed was amazing, hotel and restaurant had great decor and atmosphere.   Well simply just loved the room we were given it was a great size compared with other friends room we had every up in our room for pre drinks before heading out it set the mood jsut right. The room service was great and efficent, staff were helpful and caring.   Very enjoyable time at the Marriot, the service and room were as usual excellent all the staff were very helpfull and did all they could to make our stay a wonderful experience. The new to us, restaurant "Midtown Grill" was also excellent and the best Steak or Lamb I have had in a long time. - excellent staff
