  I like the artsy, contemporary feel of the whole hotel - it feels like an understated and less visually disoriented W Hotel full of wonder, fun and craftiness. The bathroom was clean - typical Victorian style but with a modern touch. Staff, warm and cheerful. Such an experience was like the first meeting and leaving of distant relatives. My husband and I have traveled extensively and we visit London every 2 years.   The Adria hotel is amazing. The decor was beautiful, the room was a great size and the bed was very comfortable. Everything is immaculate. Free soft drinks in the mini bar. Room on 5th floor was also very bright and quiet. This is an intimate hotel, away from the madding crowds and located in a lovely neighborhood which doesn't seem overrun ... what people say » by tourists even though it is short walk from the V&A and Hyde Park etc. - staffs are well trained and exellent service. specially concierge is very helpful and kind, also reception is sincere and friendly. Breakfast price is reasonable and if we would like to have full english breakfast, we can ask anything. Locaton is good for shopping, dinning, and close to V&A musium. Toward Knightsbrigde, we can walk through Wolton street which is interesting.
