  Overall quality of the place was really high including most comfortable bed I have ever slept, so clean and big room).. John was at there when we need and he is very helpful, friendly and kind. After staying one day you feel like you are at home more than a hotel. Location is 15-20 mins to the center and 5 mins by bus which is really good. We walk... what people say » ed all the time and it was no problem at all. There are nice restaurants to have your dinner 5 mins from the place. Great value for the money. I will - Room was very nicely and comfortably furnished, inpeccably clean that it made me feel at home immediately. There were nearby bus stops but I had preferred to walk (about 15 minutes to Waverley Station). A large supermarket (Tesco) is 5 minutes away and so are a number of restaurants. I went on a day tour that set off early in the morning and John (the owner) gladly served breakfast earlier than usual for me, so that was great hospitality.   We really enjoyed the staying in this hotel. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Huge rooms, Great place to stay.. No doubt about it. Good job guys we loved it and we will be back... Thanks - we could get anything without no as an answer.

The location is excellent with very regular buses taking you to the city centre and sights. The great Scottish breakfast with a wide choice sets you ... what people say » up for the day! - Nice room, very comfortable single bed (maybe a bit small, my mum fell when she was rolling over) and very quiet. Good breakfast with self serving coffe/tea, juice, cereal and yogurt. I had scrable eggs on toast, but you can get a full Scottish breakfast. Staff very friendly. I'd like to stay longer to interact with them. Definitely I'll came again.

  The place was beautiful and I felt very welcoming and I was helped and given information about where to eat out, for transport etc - It was clean and the landlady was very nice and helpfull.
