Pleasant and helpful staff, comfortable and well-maintained rooms,excellent cooked Scottish breakfast. Staff were great very pleasant and helpful food was great enjoyed ourstay. The breakfast could have been better. We were not asked what we wantedand were just presented with the full breakfast - which we didn't want. Maybe the website needs updating regarding when food is available. Website stated Tues not available but when I arrived food was being served??. The bathroom could have been cleaner - it was not dirty but I do notexpect to find the previous occupant's hair on the floor and the skitingboards etc were dusty. Not a big deal - but a small attention to detailhere would be good as it was the only minus point. In the evening the heating was only on for about one hour. The weather was cool enough to justify longer than this.If management do not stay on top of cleanliness of rooms then they will deteriorate quickly. Our room furnishings was very sparse - one bedroom did not have a mirror. All the chairs were very low and as have a bad back it was not comfortable to sit down and not easy to get up again!.
