Very comfortable rooms, super water pressure in the showers, staff very helpful and friendly, tons of parking, great location close to Kingston, idea for London, fast and free wireless included in tariff. For what it is, the room rate is extremely good value. Have not stayed before but would do again in future. Lovely, charming building and wonderful grounds to walk around. The room was very clean and well presented. Great breakfast and attentive waitresses. Receptionists were welcoming and helpful. Location excellent and loved Richmond Park very close by.

Had all the potential to be snooty and stuffy but was not, as all the staff were so friendly and helpful, whilst maintaining a professional, polite and high class service. Excellent. We absolutely adored the super-king bed. I am sure it is the most comfortable bed in the uk! The staff were excellent, extremely pleasant and helpful at all time. A can-do attitude that is becoming rare there days in Britain. The hotel is set in a beautiful location, the atmosphere was calm and relaxed, our room was gorgeous with a great view and period furnishings. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were really friendly. The breakfast and diners where to die for, the staff were exceptional. Also being central to Hampton Court and Kew Garden. The grounds around the hotel and the street scape is beautiful. My husband and I loved the surroundings. The room was lovely and the en-suite facilities were lovely. The hotel is situated on the edge of Richmond Park which we enjoyed walking in. The house is set in beautiful gardens, you would think you were in the middle of the countryside but in fact you were on the outskirts of London. Room very comfortable,ensuite lovely. Delightful hotel absolutely perfect for a mini luxury retreat fabulous ambience, room, service and lush shampoos , sheets and duvet as well as perfect pillows and Bose ! Lush!. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, next door to Richmond Park. The staff were very helpful and I couldn't fault the place. I would definitely go back and most likely will. The staff especially Amanda on the Front Desk were marvellous, beautiful place and stunning setting considering it's in London we will definitely stay there again. Awoken twice early morning with deliveries. Would be better if driver switched off loud deisel engine running idle whilst driver away from vehicle. My friend felt she would have preferred freshly cooked breakfast every morning, rather than from serving trays on th weekend. I however couldn't fault the quality of the food at all. Perhaps the tea was a little stewed one morning, but really nothing to complain about. Our only issue was that the bathroom wasn't as nice as the bedroom but even still it was clean and had everything we needed (soft towels and dressing gowns). Cost of having Laundry done, but can not fault the quality of the job done. The food was not up to the standard you would expect from such a beautiful hotel. The hotel would benefit from employing a really good chef. Noise from planes flying to and from Heathrow, they stopped about 11.30 at night. N/A. absolutely nothing. Distance from public transport maybe they should think about a shuttle car to station. Leaving !. There are cheaper places in London - but it is probably still well priced. Limited evening dining menu. nothing. stayed in the annex from the main building so a short walk in the rain for breakfast!. Restaurant food a little disappointing. Room 15 was over the staff entrance and the doors all banged. (Fire doors?) last noticed bang at 1.15 am, first woke me at 5.50am. I am a light sleeper. Nothing. The room was too hot with the fan not being very effective. I think the the windows should have been kept open before we arrived to cool the room down. Nothing. We could hear the TV on in the room above. More of a comment than a dislike. The breakfast and service was ok but if this hotels really interested in approving its appeal then adequate needs to become outstanding. The bed was clapped out and creaked. The sink in the bathroom was blocked. Food and drinks were rather expensive and only had bottles. See comment below. Your website doesn't do the hotel justice. Bedroom a little small as was en-suite. Breakfast - good choice but eggs hard and cooked breakfast had been made sometime b4 we collected it. Central Heating!!. Nothing. There wasn't anything I didn't like. nothing. Nothing. Room might have been a little bit warm but it wasn't a problem. We will come back. Showers need updating to thermostatic valves for ease of use. tricky to find. having to walk through dining room to get to indoor pool. Breakfast staff not very pleasant, could be more friendly. Nothing.
