Situated in the pretty village of Killearn, this small country inn-style hotel offers a bistro and a restaurant. It is ideally located for exploring Scotland's central belt. Rooms have an en suite bathroom with either a walk-in shower, or a bath with an overhead shower. The Black Bull Restaurant at the Killearn Hotel is renowned for its traditional Scottish cooking and first class service, as well as its comfortable, well-appointed accommodation. Children are welcome. The hotel has a large public bar. There are large gardens and plenty of car parking.

Customer service from both staff and management. the staff were nice and frendly and very helpfull the breakfast was excellent plenty to choose from well worth a visit ill be back next year me and the wife. friendly, efficient, helpful staff. A good room at a reasonable rate. Food was excellent. All made our short stay very pleasant. The food was excellent and the bath towels were large and thick!!.

Travelling information

By Car
From the South (including Glasgow International Airport):
- Follow the signs for the M8 to Glasgow city centre.
- Leave the motorway at junction 25 and follow the signs to the Clyde Tunnel.
- Go through the tunnel and stay on this road (A739), northbound, following the signs for Aberfoyle.
- At Bearsden, follow the signs for the A81 to Aberfoyle.
- Stay on this road through Strathblane, after which you will see the turn-off for Killearn.
- Once in Killearn, go past the Spar shop on your right, and at the top of the hill, turn left and the hotel is facing you.

From Prestwick Airport
- Take the A77/M77 north towards Glasgow.
- At the end of the M77, join the M8 westbound towards Glasgow International Airport and Greenock.
- Leave the M8 at junction 25 and follow the signs to the Clyde Tunnel.
- Follow as above.

From the North-East:
- From Stirling, follow the A811 westbound towards Erskine Bridge and Loch Lomond.
- After Buchlyvie, take the turn-off for the A875 to Balfron.
- Stay on this road through Balfron, and Killearn is the next village on.
- Once in Killearn, go past the church and the hotel is facing you.

From the North-West:
- From the A82, go past Loch Lomond and take the turn for Balloch.
- From Balloch, follow the signs onto the A811 towards Drymen.
- Before you get to Drymen there is a T-junction which has a right-hand turn signposted for Glasgow (A809).
- Take this road for approximately 2 miles, until you see a left turn for Killearn (B834).
- Once in the village, turn right at the T junction, go past the church, and the hotel is facing you.
