The warm welcome by Harriet who was very friendly and helpful. The room I shared with my daughter was warm, spacious and had lovely comfortable clean beds. My daughter was over from Northern Ireland for an interview at Hope University and found the bar area very peaceful and relaxing in order for her to prepare for the night before the interview. Good location, just off M62 & beside train station so easy access into Lime Street. Staff were excellent-very friendly & offered water/ice. Very comfortable & clean rooms, free parking! Highly recommend-great value for money!.
all reviews » it was the best 2 nights sleep I had in 6months. The staff were also friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. All in all a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The Derby where I ate was also good and reasonably priced. the greeting when we arrived warm and friendly .we mentioned we needed a taxi to a gala could not do enough. next morning breakfast was beautifull waitress was very friendly service excellent. As always at Premier Inns the staff here were lovely and the breakfast is awesome. The location of this hotel is perfect for rail and bus links into central Liverpool. Clean comfortable room. Helpful staff and good reasonably priced food in restaurant. Serve breakfast from 06:30 so ideal if you require an early start. The welcome we got on arrival and the manner of the staff. The excellent food and surroundings. Very easy to get into town a good location. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and courteous. Location is perfect for our purposes (visiting family). Staff was very friendly and quickly accommodated us, when we complained about the heat, with a fan. We could not fault any of the staff, so helpful and friendly to both us and our children. Service a bit slow in restaurant but not the staffs fault, just not enough of them. Having to pay for access to wifi that was less than reliable. Most other places we stayed at during our (month long) trip had free wifi. The fact that as it was too warm there are not enough plugs in the room. Therefore we could not use the fan and charge our mobiles at the same time. No adaptors were provided as a solution. We had to ask for extra bedding for the travel cot as there was no mattress, just a very hard base. The problem was sorted quickly though. no real dislikes. The single beds, was like sleeping in springs with a thin cover over not good at all. Long delay before being seated for breakfast. Very loud slightly disorganised/preoccupied? person doing breakfast service. No telephone in room. Tea and coffee supplies minimal and the kettle took an age to boil. the fact that next door to ourselves were a load of yound lads who thought it would be fun at 3am to knock on all doors in the corridor screaming shouting swearing.. ruined a good night. i dont approve of young lads, lasses sharing rooms like that thats what the travelodge is for .. So many people eating there, couldnt get a table in the dining room. Had to find somewhere else to dine. bed was a little bit hard for me , but slept well. Doors slamming and people walking up and down corridors from 7ish in the morning. Was really disappointed in the fact u could hear the other guests simply walking above you! Their toilet flushing! Creaky floor boards... Woke me up and kept me awake,so unfortunately,not much sleep while we stayed there. cooked breakfast wasn't great! Not worth the £8.25 per person. The gave me room No. 54 which is the worst position in the hotel; you have to use stairs many times to reach this room. I am just recovery from an operation and ask the staf if there is a lift becase I do not want to carry any thing in the stairs and she gave me this room. thank you for your cooperation!. 6 miles out of town but otherwise great.
