Friendly polite staff, good food at a good price and comfortable accomodation. It is also in a nice quiet location. Drink and have dinner and breakfast. The staff, especially Carlos the manager were extremely helpful and made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Hotel was recommended by a collegue, good food, quiet room, ideal for an overnight stay on business.We had excellent food and very good drinks.

Whilst it is true that the setting of the hotel was unusual, it did not affect our view of the hotel,and feel it should not be off putting for any prospective customers, additionally it was excellent value, and found the staff and management friendly, and we very happy with the room, which was large and comfortable. First of all, the friendly staff, their smiles when they talk to you, their willingness to help. The food was just delicious and there is also a good choice of wine. It is very peaceful there, which was just what we were looking for.The owners/staff were all very kind and welcoming. Our room was large with plenty of room for our daughter's extra bed. The bathroom tiles could use a good steam clean, but otherwise it was great.It's in desparate need of bringing up-to-date. It looks as though nothing has been replaced, updated or renewed since the 1980's and is looking very drab, dated and worn out. Bathroom needed updating eg door would not shut properly.Rooms in need of refurbishment. the bathroom was very run down poor shower service no hairdryer and the room was incredibly cold with the radiators only on for a short time although it was a particularly cold spell and there was an additional electric heater that we could use. Furnishings need an update and it was very cold in the bar area although there was an open fire it was not lit!. Whilst bedroom was acceptable, bathroom did not warrant the price paid and needs attention. felt the breakfast could have been better,was expecting a full english, breakfast staff could have been more obliging. Although the rooms were clean, there was appalling mould on the bathroom walls. This ruined an otherwise enjoyable stay.Room a bit dated and could do with an upadte. Although the ensuite had 2 sinks the plug in one of them could not be removed and the water had been turned off to the taps. The grouting around the bath/shower was discoloured and looked dirty. Although there was a nice double wardrobe there were no coathangers in it. Little points that spoiled an otherwise lovely room.Damp smell on entering hotel. Bed uncomfortable bulb not working no cold water 1 sink functioning.
