We entered the village, sparkling xmas lights, idyllic and so beautiful then found Byfords and were even more excited, it is such a gorgeous building, friendly staff, great food, lots of lovely touches and just the most lovely place to stay. Highly recommend it. Loved it.all reviews »
Made to feel instantly welcome by everyone at Byfords and the rooms are much better than a "posh B&B" as they called themselves! Food was great (and reasonably priced) and a perfect retreat for a bit of R&R.
The room was lovely and it had lovely aroma toiletries. Bed was comfy and drinks facilities provided were excellent. Reception staff were very efficient and friendly. Enjoyed our stay very much.
Excellent Hotel (Posh B&B) in an excellent location. Large portions at breakfast, buffet and cooked to order. Room high quality. Recommend to anyone who would like a bit of luxury.
We loved the room and the friendliness of the staff. We were cared for from arrival to departure. The room was fantastic and the bed a delight to sleep in.

Food excellent. Room very pleasant.
The location, food and staff.
Everything.
Food.
The bed size was great but it was too soft so we didn't sleep brilliantly.
The wifi wasn't working which was annoying as i hate being out of touch!.
Holt is a beautiful market town, but, if you are looking for a nice pub as well you wont find one there. Its evident that in the winter the high percentage of empty holiday lets in the area do not support the local trade.
I think the menu could be improved and maybe serve slightly smaller portions. My breakfast in particular I was served food I asked not to have !!.
Quite expensive.
Having to leave!.
Unfortunately z bed provided for daughter not comfortable so had poor night's sleep.
Lack of space. No public rooms or bar.
A bit noisy from the air conditioning units outside our window.
somewhat smaller room than some (NO.12) particularly tea making facilities squeezed into wardrobe area. TV faulty during our stay.
Lack of fresh bottled water in the shared fridge in the hallway. For the price you pay, each room should have it's own mini fridge.
Nothing!.
Lack of a garden.
Limited parking.
Nothing.
Limited dinner menu, having to leave our room to get milk.
Door out onto car park so not feeling part of hotel.
Re question 1 we a couple with young family but did not come with our child! No box fits!.
No lounge for guests (in case of a bad weather day - this is Norfolk).
Cant think of anything.
Nothing.
Parking!.
Bathroom. My wife had difficulty getting in and out of the bath for a shower.
No wifi in our room.
The constant humming noise from the fridges below our room and the lack of parking.
