What people say
The YHA in Hawes is exceptional and so many friendly people stayed at the same time as myself and sisters. The area is stunning and it a great place to stay if you walking the Pennine Way. My sisters and I use the YHA whenever we are able and will continue to do so. Thank you, your GREAT!.
Location was spot on. Short drive to Horton to do the 3 peaks challenge. Ideal for pie & a pint afterwards . Friendly helpfull staff. Definitely some where I would consider staying again. Especially of you're on a tight budget.all reviews »

Friendly and helpful staff.
Very good breakfasts. First class situated for walking and cycling.
Good hot water and shower.
Good breakfast - Easy Access from Town - Far enough away not to be affected by noise in Town.
Friendly staff.
Everything was just fine and comfortable. Would have preferred an en suite room, but am aware that these aren't always avail in every YHA. The bathroom facilities were very close by in any case.
Being over 6ft tall. The beds were a tad 'restrictive'.
Parking at the hostel was very limited. Whilst only a short walk to the nearest car park, in bad weather, could be a pain!.
Toilets and showers need updating.
Starting to be a little 'worn'.
Facilities getting slightly dated.
Toilets left in poor state by users overnight. (Not a staff problem they are cleaned well) 2nd floor wash and toilet area require updating.
The doors of the rooms were noisy to open and close at night.
dated building.
Free private parking is oh room for 4/5 cars, need to park in Village.
