lovely room with everything we needed. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Friendly, welcoming staff. Very nice food in the restaurant for evening meal, fantastic breakfast. Our son (6yrs)loved the childrens soft play area situated very well next to tables for parents to be able to eat their meal/breakfast. it follows a standard so the breakfast is good, the bed is wonderful, the pillows as well. And the room was spacious and clean. The staff is super friendly.
all reviews » You feel very at home but looked after at the same time. We had children to visit and there were things for them to do and they felt welcome as well. The restaurant was brilliant , staff excellent , play area for the children was an unexpected bonus. We had a great stay and will go back again. Staff were friendly and helpful, room and bathroom was spotless and there was plenty of space in the room. Bed was large and comfortable. Evening meal and breakfast. staff very friendly and courteous. we were staying for a family funeral and they were very considerate. Friendly staff who were very welcolming on arrival. Loved the hotel but did not like the town of Hastings. your ramp is very steep for wheelchair user they find it very hard climb up it. Very noisey next door neighbours. Around 20:30 - had to turn up tv. It was early - so no fuss made. They got louder and louder and were still going at 02.30. If we had a phone in the room we would have called them and reception!. We did tell the receptionist in the morning. It's quite noisy if your room is near the stairs or fire doors in the corridor but no different to any other Premier Inns. Nothing. The shower mixer tap on the bath seemed to have a mind of its own and it was very difficult to set a temperature. Postcode took me to wrong place needed to ask local man.the email booking could do with giving the name of hotel ie "windmill". Rooms were very hot. Children's beds not comfy. the restaurant attached was not good - were unable to cater for the volume of people - we had to eat in town. Bed too soft. Being checked into a room that wasn't made up. The lack of ventilation when there was no air conditioning. Very creaky floor boards. Couldn't turn the heating down so our room was quite hot all night. No AC so the room was very hot even with a fan, the day we were leaving the lift was out of order so the trek downstairs with ample luggage was a task. No phone so any issues meant you had to physically go down to reception. Location - no public transport in the vicinity. No aircondioning Bed was uncomfatable Resturant food poor qulity and not very well cooked No phones in the room No shaving pointts. Bath was very dangerous for mature couple. Slippery and narrow for turning round. There was a lot of noise from the main road traffic. On a personal note, the pillows were too soft, we are used to much firmer pillows, so we were unable to get a good nights sleep even though the bed was very comfortable. The lack of organization; bad restaurante service. The room was incredibly hot and was a relief to be out of it because of the temperature. No fridge is the room. - Too far from Hastings center town.
