Nigel & Marie were excellent hosts, no restrictions in their wonderful 17th. century home. Quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Nigel,s breakfasts were a delight in the mornings with some home made and all fresh ingredients. Our room was light and comfortable and restful...a great base from which to explore North Norfolk ! We were made to feel like family friends !!!... Very comfortable stay and ideal for a visit to the Houghton Hall exhibition which was our prime reason for choosing it, but also great for the lovely coast and countryside of Norfolk which we explored too. Friendly hosts and a good range of local eating places.

Excellent location for visiting Houghton Hall which is what I was doing. Great pub right opposite for lunch or evening meal. Nigel very welcoming and put on a great spread for breakfast. Nigel was really friendly and welcoming. He also gave us a lift to our meeting in the morning which was really helpful and much appreciated. Great location. The house was beautiful. Extremely helpful and hospitable hosts. Delicious breakfast. Dog friendly,. comfortable old house with interesting furnishings good breakfast. Lovely local pub opposite end of drive. Nice dog. convenience to Sandringham and Houghton Hall. traditional style and excellent breakfast. Everything, except ... Excellent breakfasts! Lovely breakfast room. Quiet, peaceful location and environment. Hostess very helpful with tips about local attractions. Loved the free range chicks/chickens that gave the place a truly rural feel. Location friendliness. Bed was comfortable. location and hosts. No complaints..certainly none that could not have been resolved by the owners at the time. Pub across the road was expensive by comparison and certainly understaffed while we were there.. but no fault of Church Farm. Lack of en suite toilet facilities. My wife who suffers acute back pain found the stairs to the bathroom difficult to use. (A short flight of steps was mentioned in the room details but not that this is a steep and awkward stairway to the ground floor.) Rather expensive compared to similar B&Bs that do have en suite facilities. Nothing. nothing. Wi fi connection did not function in bedroom. no towel rail in bathroom or bath mat. slamming fire door, but what to do about that?. Bathroom was very poor, with awkward (unsafe?) steps, flimsy doors that had a tendency to jam, and a shower that had no wall attachment or curtain. Understated welcome. Bathroom poor value. No shower, 1950's facilities Low heating, we shivered with blizzard outside. Very high tarrif for very poor facilities. Meagre "full english breakfast" Reality did not match website photos, very disappointed. Bathroom located down a difficult flight of stairs from bedroom, not suitable for old folks.
