The place is very quiet and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and was cooked exactly as each guest asked for. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. Excelent value for money. Lovely secluded location, friendly hosts couldn't do enough for our party (including providing gluten-free options), great breakfasts, comfortable beds, and the DVD library was an added bonus on rainy Scottish nights. The hotel is very beautiful and clean, we booking Sky Room and also the bathroom it was next door [our use only], is very large and beautiful. Lovely place to stay. Beautiful restored old building. Great location. Friendly owner. Sometimes even deers in the garden. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was great. Also had those extra touches that a visit memorable. Made to feel so welcome..Fantastic house, superbly situated..lovely facilities, comfortable, great breakfasts...10/10.Loverly room. Welcoming, helpful and friendly owners. Excellent breakfasts. It was a great exoerience the host was exremely helpfull. Quiet surroundings. Nice Bedroom. Good breakfast. We liked the location and the service. The owner's where very kind and helpful. The room was large, nicely furnished and clean. Breakfast was very niceas well. Wonderful location and friendly staff. We were very satisfiedwith the hotel. Comfy bed, huge breakfast, lovely facilities- clean and no chintz curtains anywhere!. The location was great!. Great view and secluded just enough to make the drive interesting without being too far away from what we wanted to see and do. good place between isle of sky and inverness, very good breakfast, nice poeple. Very friendly and helpful. Good food, accommodation and location. Good clean room. Friendly owner.Breakfast. Although the house is well located in a main road, we had a little trouble finding the house since the sign is somewhat small, but a quick call to the owner was enough to be guided to it.Difficult to find, from Invermoriston look alwais at right, the hotel is 1 mile before cafè on route, for dined is necessary go to Fort Augustus but it's only 6 miles and very nice town. There is no internet connection available (even though it is advertisedon the web).It is a little remote- you will need to drive if you want to go out for dinner/lunch... but only about 15-20 mins. no a very good view point of scotland highland from the house, e little expensive. We booked the Sky Room and thought the bathroom was en-suite. It wasn't, it was next door [our use only]. It may well have been our error when reading the details, but I am fairly certain that it was not clearly pointed out. We felt very uncomfortable if we needed to use the bathroom in the night! Unlocking doors, creaking doors/floorboards etc, worried we were disturbing other guests. Bedroom only had flimsy roller blind on window - allowed light to fill the room from 4.00am onwards making sleep fitful and v difficult. Owners appeared surprised...... Bathroom not en-suite. Price not justified by failure to consider basic guest requirements, ie sleep !.
