The staff welomed us with smiles even though we arrived late in the evening and the restaurant was very busy. In my booking email I said we required a cot for our baby, it was set up and ready to use as soon as we got there. In the morning we went down for breakfast and there was a high chair there to use (although she is a bit small for that, but they weren't to know!). Wish we had stayed longer as the grounds were lovely and the restaurant looked great but for us it was just one night. Woul.
all reviews » My husband and I stayed at the Three Lions with our son last week. We absolutely loved our time there. The room, location and staff are all individually faultless. And the food ....... Amazing!! Jane, who runs the Three Lions with her husband, was particularly welcoming. Looking forward to returning soon!. We were delighted with the room which was clean, tastefully furnished, bright and airy and with patio doors opening onto the garden. It was one in a row of three in a purpose-built annex close to the main building. Jane was very welcoming and friendly and the evening meal was nothing short of excellent. I liked the fact that the guest rooms were apart from the main building, with their own front door, which was like staying in a little cottage. I liked also that I could take my two dogs to stay there. Hospitality was excellent as was the food. Would love to go back and try more. The Three Lions Soup is delicious. A real gem of a place to stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Jane, my husband is disabled & she did all she could to make us comfortable. The whole of my stay was truly a faultless wonderful experience and cared for experience. We loved the food, which was exceptional. We thought the hosts were very friendly. Fantastic Staff, very friendly, food was very very nice, all in all I will return. Enjoyed being in a lovely big bedroom and bathroom. Like the sunroom nearby. The whole stay, but especially the friendly staff and the breakfast. Wonderful cooking. Beautiful gardens. Great small hotel. The setting, service, comfort and attention to detail. A very relaxed atmosphere. Food, staff and clean. peaceful location , comfortable bed. Someone knocked on the door at 10.30pm to see what time we would be there for breakfast. Was a little late in my opinion as we got there at 7.30pm and could have asked us at check in or anytime after that!. The food and drinks were a bit expensive. The fact that I had to leave!!!. Could not fault anything. Leaving !. nothing. Erm..... Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Noisy fan just below window. Nothing!. very hot room , no fan or aircon , no plug near dressing table for hair dryer/ straightners.
