We ate at both restaurants downstairs and really enjoyed them. The room was not huge, but it was very nice, clean, and had a large bathroom with a large walk in shower. The airport shuttle is right across the street and there are always taxis waiting outside.

  The location on the Royal Mile was perfect for our stay, within easy reach of the things we wanted to do. It was easy to drive too, with easy parking behind the hotel. It was also easy to get out of Edinburgh from this location. Ideally placed for us, as we were attending the March & Rally for Scottish Independence on Calton Hill that weekend. They are installing tram lines in the street but it still has access if you are arriving by car or taxi.
