Comfortable beds. Food was uninspiring but cheap. It's location was convenient for our needs and as the hotel represented reasonable value for money. The food was very good.The Power shower. Value for money. Friendly staff. yes the back garden full of condoms.Decor a little shabby. No facility for having early breakfast - usually I have found that a hotel will make available buffet breakfast if requested.Room needed updating. Why put a shelf above a small wash basin which makes it impossible to have a face wash or wet shave. The meats on the carvery hotplate looked dried up and tired.I booked 3 rooms for family, the rooms could of done with abit of a make over. room needed decorating -cracks in wall etc. Breakfast is the worst I have ever had, I could not eat it. The renovations appear to only cover half the hotel rooms. Problems were dealt with once brought to the notice of the hotel staff, 1. used condom in bathroom bin - removed. 2. Scalding hot shower unable to use - room changed.Our room was filthy, couldn't move as all the rooms were booked. Sheetsand bath had been cleaned, but carpets were dirty, there was hair, dustand nail clippings on the bathroom floor and mould around the inside ofthe window frames. No-one to complain to, and I'd paid up front as Iknew I needed to leave early in the morning. People arguing until 2amdidn't help either!.
