What people say
Absolutely everhthing! We've stayed in so many places after 5 weeks
of travelling & Serendipity Bed & Breakfast was our favourite.
The staff Ken & Martin made us feel very welcome & were very
attentive to all of our needs. They even gave us a map & marked on
it all of these suggestions of places we should see (which were great!).
Breakfast was absolutely divine with bacon, sausage & egg with toast
& a range of homemade jams which taste amazing. Tea, coffee &

Our stay at Serendipity could not have been any better. Martin and Ken
are brilliant guys and they for sure know what they are doing and are
paying attention to details (more so than in many 5* hotels!!). The
rooms are very nice and immaculately clean with and we had one with a
view of the river and mountains. Brilliant friendliness/hospitality
was shown at all times and they were very happy to share their
experiences of different places and recommend them to us. I hope I get
the opportunity to.
- Everything was just perfect for a romantic evening/night!
- the location and the view on the mountains. The scenery was beautiful, especially at sunset time.
- The place is very peaceful, with a river nearby.
- hospitality of hosts: very welcoming, very friendly and with a great generosity. And they give excellent tips for things to do and see around!
- breakfast! The best porridge I have ever had! Jams are made by hosts themselves and are absolutely delicious.
- our room was lovely (and ultr.
Out of the ten B&Bs we stayed at on our vacation, this one was by far our favorite. We left wishing we would have stayed here longer. The hospitality of the hosts is amazing. We got in late and the local restaurants were closed, so they prepared a light meal for us which was very kind. We also really appreciated the detailed information on hikes around the area. The room far exceeded my expectations and had a very nice view of the mountains. The breakfast was wonderful, and the homemade jam.
Martin and Ken were the perfect hosts, they couldn't do enough for
us. The whole house was immaculately presented and the breakfast set us
up for the whole day. It was a perfect location for exploring the
Highlands and Islands and the wildlife was a bonus, especially the large
variety of birds who shared our breakfast time. From the window we saw,
chaffinch, greenfinch, goldcrests, blue tits, coal tits and more... And
near the river, which flows past the house we saw a heron and even an
osprey!.
We arrived late in the evening to Serendipity, but Kenn immediately made us feel at home, and welcomed us in such a friendly way - thanks to him we got a very good picture about the surroudings (thank you for the nice tips!). In the morning Martin served us a delicious full English breakfast, with their wonderful home made jams! The room was perfect, lovely view, the place is quiet, and the atmosphere is very relaxing and familiar. We highly recommend it! Joao & Ema.
Ken and Martin were perfect hosts, not only at breakfast but helping both us and other guests with suggestions of places to visit and where to buy windscreen wipers (not as easy as you might think in an area this remote). Rooms very clean and if you want peace and quiet your in the right place. Halfway between Fort William and Inverness, it's very well placed for days out in the Highlands.
Oh, and the jams! Ask for the rhubarb and ginger.
Everything was great with the possible exception of the small TV. Very very friendly chaps cant do enough to cater for your needs and are happy to talk and advise about anything and everything for as long as you are able !!! Very clean and tidy, along with great breakfast made for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay....We'll be back for sure.
We liked friendly and warm welcome of Serendipity hosts. From all the places we visited in Scotland this is one of the most comfortable and the most beautiful. All details in the house are lively, discribing Scotland and Highlands. Breakfast is made from organic food produced in the garden of hosts. We absolutely loved Serendipity!.
A lovely clean room that was almost brand new with a spacious on-suite. Owners were exceptionally helpful and cooked a very tasty breakfast with many homemade/grown items. The room had great views of the mountains with deer near the river and a nosy badger at night. Definitely recommend this B&B.
My husband and I liked the quiet environment and beautiful location. Our
hosts were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us which we
really appreciated. We would highly recommend and if we go back to
Scotland in the future, we would definitely put Serendipity B&B on
top of our list to visit!.
We loved every moment of our stay at Serendipity. It was the first rainy day in Scotland, but the location, the facilities and first of all the owners made us feel very welcome. It was the first day we just wanted to stay in and enjoy our time. Go if you can! We absolutely loved it!.
Room very good with a good taste for decoration ! breakfast excellent ! Very friendly and helpfull ! they gave us good tips to see or do in the area !! During a walk in the morning we saw 3 deers. The next time we go to this area of Scotland we go back to this B&B !.
The hosts were fantastic - very friendly, kind and helpful. The room was immaculate. The views were wonderful. The welcoming home baked treat was delicious (and extremely kind). We have stayed before and are definately planning to stay again. Thank you martin and ken.
The owners were very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was excellent! Homemade jams and fresh eggs. Delicious! The room had lots of space. The location is amazing for anyone who enjoyes peace, silence, country and walking. Lots of books and guides in the room.
Martin and Ken were fantastic hosts, very friendly and welcoming on our arrival. Their knowledge of the area and beyond e.g. Isle of Skye, was terrific. The B&B is in a wonderful rural location, with lots of wildlife around. We really enjoyed our stay.
Martin and Ken were both very friendly and polite, and made us feel very welcome. Rooms excellent, cleanest bed and breakfast we have ever visited. Excellent quiet location, beautiful scottish scenery, excellent cooked breakfast with home made jam.

Very secluded B&B run by very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant couple. We were made very welcome. In beautiful remote location in a valley near 'nowhere'. Superb views.
One of the best B&B I have stayed so far. Everything was perfect (location, breakfast etc). Warm welcome by the hosts. Would definitely stay again in Serendipity!!!!.

nothing (apart the midges!).
Having to come home.
There was nothing that we didn't like.
The bed could be more confortable. We requested a bedroom with mountain view and didn't had one, but we didn't cared too much about it because we only stayed for one night and the room was excellent. We wished we could stay for one more night!.
