We had a large 4-bed family room which was ideal for our needs. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and the free parking was a great bonus. The staff were very polite, pleasant and helpful. A most enjoyable stay, and excellent value for money. Friendly staff, good clean room, convenient car parking, excellent value for money. privacy - location for visiting family.

It would be helpful if the hotel could provide a sheet of paper to guests explaining this to save any confusion at the bus-stop. Other than that it was perfect!. connecting door to next room - could hear every word occupants were saying. They could hear us also, knocked and asked us to lower t.v. at 10 pm which we did, but couldnt hear it, so switched off and had early night - bit inconvenient. Didnt complain, because its a good hotel and the staff are very good, plus we have stayed a number of times, and it suits us fine.Car parking was a nightmare during next doors prayer time. Shortage of pillows.The open car park is not good enough for security purposes. Sausage and ham was not put out in the morning. Unsure if it is free as well.I just didn't like the fact that there was no elevator, but that is really not the hotel's fault. the silicon around the bath/shower could do with an upgrading however it was not unclean.I would like the room to be cleaned more thoroughly. room was alittle shabby. Some of the fittings were in need of care Washbasin taps were loose trouser press did not work. Bar prices expensive.The breakfast arrangements. I found out in the morning, people had toorder cooked breakfasts. I have never heard of this and this was notmentioned to me on arrival. Also, there was no information pack aboutthe hotel in my room. The staff should have informed us of the ticket required forbreakfast as we did not know and only after asking a kitchen staffdid I get advised. The room was not as pleasant as the last time we stayed there, but itwas comfortable and functional. The other party with us changed theirroom easily. Yes, the location was much too far from the city center.Plug missing from wash basin. Could do with redecorating. continental breakfast instead of full English one. no lifts. no telephone service or call box. bar and breakfast closed early. The room showed some signs of neglect. Sink was badly cracked, bath had a large chip and no plug.The water supply however was hot and plentiful.Breakfast did not commence until 0730 hrs and I needed to start work at 0700 hrs. Quite noisy, that may have been the other guests. Breakfast basic. Can,t answer yes/no to the following questions. The hotel was OK for a couple of nights. Didn't read reviews. The individual I nterna tv aerial with is never adjusted and givepoor picture.Room could do with a lick of paint. I was not given a food ticket and was not even told this was what I needed when asking where to go for breakfast.The maintenance had not been checked as the shower was not working and the toilet seat had fallen off. the shower was not easy to use and you could'nt stand under it and had to sit down in the bath to use it .Hottel staff wasn't really friendly. the male receptionist lacks good approach and not bussiness oriented.the day staff weren't very friendly, breakfast was ok.
