  I re-visited The Rothesay earlier this month for a stay lasting five nights. As on previous occasions I was welcomed by the owner and shown to my room which I found to be both warm and comfortable. There was a good selection of fresh fruit on the breakfast table as well as the usual cereals etc., A big plus was that I requested an item not genera... what people say » lly on the cooked breakfast menu and this was served perfectly cooked! All in all a very pleasant stay. - The host was welcoming with complimentary tea and cake (genoa?) and informative throughout our stay. The room, ( superior), was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with cereals, juice, fruit and cooked breakfast prepared to order, piping hot. An indoor heated swimming pool was available. The Rothesay is well placed for shopping, eating out, Highcliffe Castle and the beach.Overall very good value for money.

  Fantastic room with really good shower. Excellent breakfasts and very pleasant and helpful staff. Highly recommend - rooms very well presented. the staff were very helpfull. the quality of food available was second to none.
