The friendly atmosphere and their willingness to do whatever it took to make your stay comfortable.We had a superb stay everything was excellent. Booked a double room for single occupancy and was allocated a suite -great value. Restauant offered good value food with no hassle at dinneror breakfast.Staff very friendly and helpful.all reviews
The staff were very friendly and helpful; the food in the restaurant wasexcellent as was the service; bedroom was spacious and bed comfortable. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room that I had booked was actually a suite.The restaurant was excellent. The food was of a very high standard. The staff were, mostly, very young but without exception, were very friendly and helpful.The wedding that I went to during the weekend.Very comfy beds and nice and clean facilities. Unfortunately there was a problem with the telephone system so wasunable to dial outside calls from the room telephone but I was offeredthe facility to use the phone at reception or go online in reception toretrieve my emails as this was my reason for trying to use the roomphone since my laptop is not wireless enabled.The shower did not work properly.Booking.com confirmed that we had booked a suite, however, no suites were available and we had to accept a standard inferior room.The rooms are in the process of being re-decorated: mine definitely needed updating. The TV did not work well, for example.We booked a twin room, I was with my sister.....and we were given a double. When we asked for a change, I was told there were no twins available ( there showed 2 available on website when booking) Room was a bit cold, with no temp.control,. Room was basic and tired. Cracked tiles in the bathroom and very poor shower-hardly enough water to rinse off the soap. The bedroom was hot with no obvious way of adjusting it.
