  There were two aspects of our stay at Chester's Stone Villa Guest House which I feel are particularly worthy of an especial mention. Firstly, the genuine warmth and sincerity of the owners' hospitality. I looked at their menu online before staying at the Stone Villa - I went to Chester for a birthday weekend, and was not disappointed.The hotel had been given excellent reviews, and so that's why we chose it. We were not disappointed, ... when we arrived both Kirstie and David welcomed us and were very attentive, fetching our cases, recommending a beautiful Italian restaurant to us and even booked the restaurant and taxi. We stayed in Room 5 and was pleasantly surprised, the room and bathroom were spacious, the bedding was beautiful, the room had fruit in it,

Just a 25 minute drive from The 'model village' of Port Sunlight and only a 10 minute drive from there to Birkenhead and the ferry to Liverpool. Great value for money. Good 'locals' pub. Village location. Overall, a really comfortable 4 night stay. Going back next week !!!

The hote - The rooms were very clean and user friendly. They had obviously recently been refurbished as were the bathrooms. The shower was huge - very luxurious. Loved the friendly atmosphere of the pub area downstairs which also included a heated terrace area out the front. Breakfast was good. Free parking on site. Only 10 minute walk into town.
