Have just returned home after spendig one night in the Crowne Plaza, Chester. This hotel is in an excellent location quite near the main street with shops, bars etc. Also it is beside the bus station which allows you to easily get to Cheshire Oaks outlet park and Chester Zoo. The staff were most willing and helpful at all times and were particularly pleasent. The hotel location was perfect. The deal for hb 1st night is anexcellent idea and one I would use again. The room was well furnishedand a decent size. The dinner was well presented and very enjoyable andwho can resist a cooked breakfast.We would certainly recommend CrownePlaza'S. All the staff were helpful, polite and friendly.

NO. we were charged for the upgrade to an executive suite even though i was with a member who had these privileges and they knew at the time of the booking several months ago, i felt the should have reserved the upgrade in advance knowing they only had so may rooms and it should have been organised in date or booking order. the club bar also didn't have any miniatures so we had to have soft drinks. food in bar was cold and came out at separate times for our group. Car parking in a pain. Accidently booked a twin room instead of a double,rang up next day to change and was told we had a double but when we went to the room it was 2 single beds.Booked an evening meal a fortnight in advance and on arrival was told it would be in a backroom as hotel had a abba tribute night on.Always difficult to get a parking space. car park expensive.

Within easy reach of the M56, Chester Railway Station, Manchester Airport and Liverpool Airport, Crowne Plaza Chester is ideally placed for the business and leisure traveller. From the North M6: Take the M6 Junction 20 to M56 Junction 15 and M53 to Chester. Exit at Junction 12 onto the A56 for approximately 1 mile. Go over the railway bridge, through the traffic lights and take the third exit off of the roundabout. Go straight over the next roundabout signposted for Wrexham. Pass under the pedestrian footbridge, turn left at the traffic lights and then take the first right. The hotel car park is at the end of the road on the right hand side. Should the hotel car park be full, we do have an arrangement with the city council, Princess Street car park, which is adjacent to the hotel. The charge for this car park is £7.50 per 24 hours. A car park voucher would need to be obtained from Hotel Reception for Princess Street Car park.
