We needed some peaceful away time and found just what the doctor ordered,the perfect location to chill out watching the x factor final,very relaxing and enjoyable,would definately return . The staff were exceptionally polite, the hotel was at a fantastic location, close to the M6. The rooms (and food) were to an immaculate standard with excellent value for money.Very easy to find, just off the M6. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Friendly staff and good location for the M6 Toll road. quality hotel in all aspects - reasonably priced. Friendly staff and very clean. Staff were amazing, the restaurant's food was really nice and excellent value for money. The pianist also added a really nice touch if you want a romantic meal. When the tv stopped working the staff arrived within 10 minutes and fixed it. Very comfortable and easy to find.how clean the hotel was it was the best hotel to stayin. The breakfast was excellent next morning.Breakfast was across the business park - not handy as it was raining and also a dangerous as visibilty was a bit restricted by the buildings. Poor choice of non-pay TV channels. Difficult to find from motorway as access road temporarily shut. the hotel did a pre-otherisation check on my card incase i used room service etc. they took 110 pound out of my count by doing this however it took them 5 days to put the money back into my account which was very unconvient!!. parking seemed very random-not sure if hotel was full whether you could park ok. a little over priced. Lift was broken and i had to carry up a keg of Stella 12 floors to help out staff where at times the bar was unattended up to 10 minutes at a time. TV did not work, hotel bar was closed, had to go outside to get breakfast. When we arrived we were told that there was an extra charge for having 3 people in a family room. Luckily the girl at the desk wavered the extra charge. But then when we got to the room there was no extra bedding and quite honestly we were all so shattered we couldn't be bothered kicking up a fuss. So poor husband had an uncomfortable nights sleep. the only thing i did not like about the room was all your clothes were on display.TV not working in room. Also appear to be understaffed for a hotel of this grade. utensils in room a little dirty (cups/saucers) no complimentary shampoo/conditioner in rooms. Very very noisy. I waited over an hour for my room service dinner to arrive and was then charged twice for the meal at checkout.On our return on the saturday evening we were very disappointed to find the hotel bar closed with a note sending us outside across the plaza to a bar and restaurant.After complaining to the Manager he reluctantly opened the bar citing a function upstairs as the reason.We are both in our 60's and this ruined the evening for my wife . Having seen this winderful building from the Mway I was looking forward to staying at the Ramada Cannock. I could not have been more disappointed. The place has no life. It did not have a restaurant and bar in the hotel and I was sent outside to look for a place. Nearly got run down as a car came whizzing round the blind bend. The bar when I found it was empty at 7.30 pm on a wednesday!.

Museum of Cannock Chase (3.5 miles / 5.5 km) - escape from the city in these 30 acres of green space, set near the Hednesford Hills Nature Reserve.
