This is more like a 5 star hotel than a B&B though you would never get such friendly service in a hotel. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the accommodation (super comfy beds, beautiful furnishings, wide screen TVs), the wonderful owners for whom nothing is too much trouble, the delicious breakfasts and the stunning surroundings. all reviews » Having arrived, we were greeted by Lorraine, who very kindly offered us tea and cake before we were taken to our room. This was much appreciated and very welcome. Lorraine and Derek are fantastic hosts. Helpful in every way possible. We were in The Pitlochary Room, which was beautiful. Varied choice for breakfast, and very good it was too. I cannot find fault in this B&B, and would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to visit Callendar. We also had no problem parking outside the B&. Invernente Guest House is absolutely lovely and perfect for our short stay in Callander. Lorraine welcomed us on arrival and also served our tasty breakfast the next morning. Our room was very comfortable with a nice view out over the Callander Kirk. The bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in- top marks! We also made use of the dvd's available to use which are located on each floor (they also have books and board games that you can borrow too!). We booked Invernente B&B based on previous good reviews and it exceeded expectations! Owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Our room had a fantastic combination of classy Victorian decor with modern comforts including a very spacious bathroom. We had a traditional Scottish Breakfast, and even that was superior quality products. If we are back in the area we would definately stay here again. What a lovely place right off the main street. Lorraine couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. We overslept because we were so comfortable, but she held our breakfast for us. Really good breakfasts too! She recommended a drive which we did and it was wonderful. Would have loved more time there. Lorraine was awesome. She was so helpful any time we had a question and always friendly. Staff does not live there by night. Anyway they left everything available for a self-late-check-in. I would have preferred more fresh food available for breakfast. I was disappointed not be able to have a hot shower. no table in the room. Nothing. Nothing. Mánager was a bit grumpy.
