We were travelling to a concert at the Olympic Park Stratford. Buckhurst Hill was on the Central Line 14 minutes away by Tube. It was about a 10 minute walk to the tube station. We used the Toby Carvery opposite for Breakfast which was £3.99 for a much as you can eat buffet style breakfast. The hotel was great. The staff let us check into our room when we arrived at 12pm. The pillows and bed were extremely comfy and the room was spot on. The free parking was great as leaving your car in London. all reviews »
All the staff were unusually pleasant and helpful. The location is excellent for a weekend visit to London as well as the ease of access to Epping Forest. The rooms were very quiet - an achievement in this suburban setting.
Probably the best Premier Inn or hotel of this type we have stayed at. Good range of restaurants within walking distance.

there was a good variety in the continental breakfast. not sure if there was porridge available. assumed there was not so did not ask about it.
the beds were so comfortable. i stayed in a premier inn in the north of ireland last year and the beds then were so comfortable.
Great budget hotel. Room was clean and well appointed. The staff could
not do enough to make our stay a pleasant one. Timi, the front desk
person even charged my Ipod several times. Breakfast was amazing. Kudoz
to the cook. Situated next to Toby Carvery. Good meals there, and value
for money.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and I was given a quiet room as requested, though it was on the ground floor and I was a solo female traveller. Perhaps the upper rooms were more subject to traffic noise!.

i would have expected a single room supplement as i was travelling alone for funeral.
Noise from the adjacent electricity substation might be a problem if you needed to sleep with window open but we were fine.
No iron, people in the room next door were so so loud I. And out of door, all night. No phone in the room so couldn't ring down to complain.

No telephone in the rooms. We were travelling with my 91yr old mother and I felt she was isolated in her room without the ability to contact anyone in case of emergency. Like many elderly people she cannot use a mobile phone.

The cleaning staff tried to come in our room in the morning when we were asleep and woke us up, even though we had put the do not disturb sign on the door. You could hear people during the night, going into their rooms etc. Our room was a bit small compared to other premier inns we have stayed at.
No bath, only shower - I didn't spot that in the hotel info...bit of a disappointment but not a show stopper.
The people stayed in next room were loud even late at night.

During our stat at the premier inn we were awoken at around 3.30am with
loud shouting & swearing outside our room which was coming from a
group of males trying to get someone out of the room near us. They were
shouting very aggressively. This dampened the stay.

The people in the room next door were smoking a lot.the smell was terrible.i didn't complain,because I was only with my daughter,and would have felt vulnerable.
Price of room as the couple we travelled with paid £39 as opposed to the
£75 we were charged. We even booked earlier than they did.
