This is our fourth stay at the Mercure Holland House, Bristol. We have always received the best of attention from the staff who are very pleasant to a one. Our room is always good and we mostly have been able to have the same room on each stay. Breakfast is very good and we have had some lovely dinners there. Parking was cheaper than listed, being charged £10 for two days, excellent. Really nice, would go again.

Excellent location, large parking just outside of main entrance, well designed reception and huge rooms that could probably fit one more double bed in it. Tea/coffee tray in a room had plenty of coffee sachets and tea bags unlike other hotels that would only have one or two. Also, bed is huge, much bigger than we expected. We will definatley be going back, we only stayed for one night but will stay for longer next time. The room was very clean and comfortable and the restaurant was good value for money.

Stayed 18-20th July 2013 room 210. Had a great stay here. Arrived a bit early at 12.30 but there was a room ready so we could check in. The parking is right next door in the NCP multistorey carpark. Unfortunately the carpark lifts are out of action but that's NCP's fault. The hotel validate your parking ticket so it only costs £12.50 /day. The ro... what people say » om was plenty big enough, 2 double beds, view of trees outside. Being room 210 it was on second floor, maybe the higher floors had a better view but w - NB. My husband and I stayed with our granddaughters aged 3 and 7) We walked through the door to be greeted with mince pies and mulled wine and a friendly and festive welcome to us and our grandchildren. The member of staff who checked us in understood our needs (my husband is disabled) and those of our grandchildren and put herself out to ensure these needs were met. The hotel was busy but we felt we were treated as if we were the only guests. We expect Mariott's to be comfortable and clean,

We were immediately greeted with friendly, efficient staff. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Especially good if you've previously had a late night at a show or concert. It's worth taking the lift to the top floor for the view. Thank you f - We were going to the Hippodrome and so I had sourced this hotel as being particularly close. I am a single mother with two children and so I had booked a family room, but I never expected it to be as roomy and practical as it was. With three beds, a decent sized bathroom, a tv and coffee facilities all being on a floor which was clearly marked "QUIET ZONE" I was so impressed and would definitely stay here again.
