The apartments are truly fantastic, felt like a home from home, very comfortable bed with lovely bedding felt like getting into my own bed. Soft fluffy towels felt like real luxury a true refreshing change. The kitchen is very well equipped with starter tea & coffee etc that lasted us well. The staff are very friendly and we were wishing we had booked an extra night. This place is without a doubt the nicest accommodation available in Bridlington, well worth the extra money. Will defiantly b.
all reviews » Two-bedroom apartment on the third floor, immaculately presented, clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped. The charming and helpful owners clearly care about their guests - Andrew was kind enough to wait up for our late arrival. The location - 50 yards back from the beachfront amusement area near the harbour - puts rides, arcades, bars, boat trips, chip shops (countless) and seafood stalls within easy reach. M&S (food) and Boots, are two minutes walk, Co-op is five minutes. Beach is. The thoughful bits, like the milk, and continental breakfast, tea, coffee and the nice touches that made it feel special. The wine, grapes and chocolates. Everything was very nicely presented and fresh flowers and petals on the bed all looked lovely. There was someone there if you needed them and it was nice to have a parking permit. Owners were very polite and curtious and I would recommend the apartments, they are in an excellent position for bars, restaurants and the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Located near the centre of town, so 2 minute stroll to shops, amusements, beach and any other attractions you may want to visit. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for self-catering including a pint of milk in the fridge, so we could make a cup of tea as soon as we arrived. Their was also a lift, so no lugging cases up stairs!. The whole experience at Carlton Apartments was superb. The room was gorgeous, the petals on the bed, the studio facilities and the view all excellent. When Andy & Cyndi found out it was our anniversary we had a lovely gift in a chilled bucket from them - so kind. Great service with a smile too. Perfect night away from the kids!! dancing at The Spa was super too. nice comfortable rooms. Good apartments with generous stuff in the room. Very friendly host. Good choice cos driving to Brid pass thru beautiful country side...driving to York and stopping the Designers Outlet is a must . Great short stay. staff were very friendly, a tea, coffe milk waiting for us when we arrived. which is very thoughtful! The locationis very good, central for pubs cafes etc but not affected by noisey revellers!. easy to enjoy long walks up to sewerby park or upto the park and ride in the opposite direction. very nice. The apartments are ideally situated in the centre of town with good views of the sea front. The Manager was friendly and helpful. The flexibility of having your own catering facilities means you can relax better than a hotel. It was all very clean and modern. excellent place i did my research before i went check reviews on letsbookhotel.com and my first thought was it sound to good to be true but this place is top notch great staff nice room little bottle of milk in fridge the extra count thanks. Excellent location for touring the Yorkshire area, easy routes to scarborough, york and hull. The Location is first class. The space and quality of finish in the basement apartment was totally unexpected. Luxury at very reasonable prices. Also a parking permit is issued for your entire stay which is a great add on. Owners very accommodating. Relaxed atmosphere. The appartment was fully equipped in a good location for exploring the area. Check in was quick & easy & then we could come & go as we pleased. I have nothing bad to say about this Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and the pent house suit was spotless and welcoming. Great service, mentioned we had a baby and a travel cot, high chair and bedding/baby towel all provided which was brilliant. The apartment was first class, all facilities first class, excellent stay from start to finish have already booked again,. The friendley welcome cleanliness and comfort we stayed in the studio apartment which was very spacious . Loved petals on the bed, the strawberries and wine and the roll top bath. Good location close to seafront and town. Good size apartment. Nothing not to like. There is some noise, both day (from the rides and amusement galleries) and night (from bars in the square). If you are fully engaged with all that Bridlington has to offer, this wouldn't be a problem. If you are looking for a quiet weekend by the sea, you might want to look elsewhere. Bad water pressure made the shower run cold sometimes. The only negative we can think of is parking. We stayed there in December, so this wasn't an issue for us, but in the summer it's much busier and may become a problem. Cannot say there was anything to dislike at all. settee a bit small (if being picky) bed a bit uncomfortable (again being picky) all in all not a lot to complain about!. Very noisy on the second night because of a couple of bars opposite the apartments (4am revellers!) but that's what comes with staying in the centre of town. The studio room we occupied only had one small radiator & got a bit chilly - perhaps we should have asked for a fan heater. There were a couple of maintenance issues with the bathroom - rails not fixed securely and a lack of hanging rail for the bath sized towels. Nothing that's not fixable. Nothing..will be going back in the summer. Parking is restrictive around the apartments but that is by no means unique to the Carlton Apartments. Nothing. Everything is splendid and to pick fault would be simply churlish. No negatives. Nothing. Nothing. we could not find anything to complain about. Nothing not to like. Parking was on street, but the town was very busy. Internet didn't work after first 10 mins. TV also didn't work as "no signal". Noisy pigeons but thats Bridlington , ha ha. The very large mirror in front of the toilet. The area isn't great but this did not spoil our stay, we were sorry for the owners as they go the extra mile. Parking. Parking is difficult. This was out-of-season so refurbishment work was taking place on nearby properties. Parking was a bit iffy due to builders vans, skip and access platform in the road.The owner kindly gave me a parking permit so I didn't have a problem. Uncomfortable lounge chairs (sofa would have been better) and low quality tv. Nothing. too short a break. nothing. Nothing - it was all fine. The fire doors were a bit of a nuisance but they are a legal requirement so can't complain about that. nothing. the tub chairs. Slight damp smell, probably due to being a basement apartment. There was no door on the 2nd bedroom (just a curtain), so we couldn't use it for our 1 year old as it was right next to the living room. The bathroom could only be accessed from the main bedroom.....disturbed our child who had to sleep in our room because of first point above.
