We stayed in this hotel only for one night, because we had a late connection flight. The personal was excellent, the comfort of beds unforgetable, the cleaness of rooms very very good. The location almost the center, You can find many cafes and shops around to spend time. Speaking about breakfast - the hotel offers it for 8 pounds, it is very delicious (full various range of english breakfast), but real plus is that children can get it for free.
all reviews » Friendly staff on arrival, at breakfast and on exit. Only stayed here as Leeds city centre was fully booked and were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was! Only 5 mins from the train station and centre of town. Spotlessly clean, everything available for breakfast even though we were one of the last to arrive the dining room. Overall, great place and would definitely stay again. We liked the warmth, the comfort, the cleanliness, and the very friendly and helpful staff. The Premier Inn chain gives very good value for money. So, travellers, you can rest assured you will always get consistency of quality. The whole place is excellent. The staff were helpful, chatty and had a good sence of humour. The room was very clean and of an excellent standard. All facilities worked perfectly. I would Highly Recommend this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, with the best shower I have ever had in a hotel. The breakfast was fantastic and the two grandsons ate for free. Staff really helpful in every way and the room was so comfortable with lots of hot water and even a bath! Very special so I will be back with my wife in the new year. Very helpful staff. I could not fault my stay in any way, I just regret never staying in a Premier inn before. No iron in room. Needed to be requested. Hotel irons and ironing boards are ubiquitous in 2013. The price quoted when we booked on line was an even $500 us, including all taxes and other charges. However, when I checked our credit card on line, I found that the actual charges were $551. I do not think this is fair and I would like to have the $51 credited back to our credit card. Or, have someone contact us and explain why there is an additional 10% charge to our account. The currency did not change that much from the time of our booking until our arrival. We had a young couple in the next room who were very noisy and despite telling them to be more considerate they were still chatting and being loud at 5am !!. Staff didn't appear to be trained in using booking system on the computer. We were sent to a room which was already being used by someone else which was highly embarrassing when we walked in! The staff appear perplexed by this and took a while to find an alternative room even though we had per booked our rooms on the Internet! They then seem to struggle to put the payment through and we had to return even later to the desk to pay for one of the rooms!. nothing , an exellent premier inn !. Sheets were not changed regularly. Had to keep bins outside the room when it was full. N/A. hmmmm....the weather. Beds were hard and uncomfortable location was very poor. Bathroom not cleaned properly, toilet tissues ran out in a day, not replaced. breakfast a bit expensive. Firstly was booked into a room that was already occupied. Then took another 30mins to find us a substitute room. The next day breakfast was very slow not enough staff to cope with the demand. As fast as the small amounts also one item at a time was put out it was gone stood for over half an hour just to get one plate of cooked breakfast. Nothink. I hate that I could not join their online club. I would have stayed at Premier many more times this trip if it had let me join. Nothing. No parking. It was our first time in the uk and there was no map of the city available to make our stay more fun.Also,the internet facility,though present,was insufficient for streaming anything even when I offered to pay. I am really disappointed that you only offer 30 mns of free wifi, it's very misleading when you charge £3 for 24 hours. When I checked in I was told it was free parking until 1030am in fact it was until 10am and I ended up with a parking fine. I have been trying to speak with "rob" the manager but he hasn't called me back..... this has made me not want to stay at a a premier inn again as the staff don't even know what times you're able to park too..... the breakfast was soggy too with the mushrooms being served in a bath of water!. On arrival the booking was for a single room, I booked a quadruple room. Obvioulsy the room was not ready and the staff had to bring an extra bed. I have since realised that I have been overcharged for the room by approx £11.
