Cosy and a very warm welcome. The Romanian staff at the front desk and pub is very nice and takes a very good care of your needs. Excellent !. friendliness of staff. evening meal excellent. Convenience. position and oldyworldy atmosphere of the hotel. the bed. The access to hotel -good. in the room - more milk and a mug or larger cup for tea/coffee, glasses for water. Mug at breakfast time or refill - perhaps a pot tea/coffee on the table. Toast not very good and no marmalade.It is being refurbished at the moment. it is being renovated. There was no wifi conection, which was advertised as having in all area's of the hotel. For the price, there was no housekeeping. And although it sounds petty, the water pressure was so bad we couldn't wash the soap off!. No wardrobe in room. Did not clean room during second day. We realized there was building work going on before we booked, but did not like the building workers using the resturant for breakfast still wearing their yellow flash jackets, and hard hats under the table !!!!. The room was a bit basic but they are undergoing upgrading the rooms. noise from church bells - no sleep for two nights - also food in the restaurant overpriced for inferior standard - they have a lot to learn!. the tv did not work after 8pm before that it had limited channels the black tape around the conecting wire was really a poor efort to patch up the fault. I found the staff a little abrupt and they bought breakfast courses to quickly, not giving enough time to finish cereals first. Also in my room on the floor was a cover for a razor, which indicates the room had not been cleaned efficiently. No glasses and there were two of us and only one set of towels, so we had to share them. This is not a complaint i'd like to think of it as positive feedback.The access to rooms with luggage not too good, there was a flea on mybed which seemed to live in the cushions which were placed on the bed.The choice for breakfast was limited, no choice of cereals, no green teaand ordered meal was cold the toast only toasted on one side. Coffee wasordered and black tea delivered by the staff. Not told that an accesscode was required for internet. Not given. Sound proofing, bed, smell, lighting.
