The staff were unbelieveably helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Arriving back from a function, we were too late for last orders, but no problem, they soon sorted us out. On the morning of our departure getting a taxi was next to impossible, but they soon helped us and we were soon on our way. I cannot fault this hotel or its staff and would happily recommend it to any traveller in the Bourne/ Stamford area.
all reviews » Countryside setting of the hotel - quiet & relaxing. About 10 minutes outside the market town of Bourne and within reasonable drive of several other Lincolnshire centres. Staff kind & friendly. We enjoyed our stay greatly. We had our dog with us and found the hotel staff and facilities to generally be "dog friendly" which was as big plus for us. Also, the room was large and comfortable, spacious bathroom and shower, all in all a good stay. I feel that the management have got it right. Efficient and welcoming staff who are customer focused, clean, comfortable bedrooms and first class catering and service. Excellent experience, brilliant breakfast!!. As I was on an intensive H&S training course time did not permit leisure activities Staff were exceptionally friendly at reception, bar & dining room Meal was good and value for money. The kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Quiet in spite of many guests there the rooms are well insulated for sound. Clean and comfortable. outside terrace and plenty of parking. The staff stayed late for us so we could check in at 12.30am, the staff were very polite and helpful, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was excellent. Location was good for my purpose. Room was small but comfortable. nothing to complain about all fab. the cheap sliced bread for the price on a salmon sandwhich. the noise of the bathroom and the threadbare xcarpet in our room... 15. plumbing in our room was not up to standard, very bad pipe noise after flushing wc shower hard to operate. Bedroom a bit small, no iPhone charger available for customer use. Room needed up-dating decor and bathroom. rooms dated, but comfortable. I think paying a one off booking payment of 20 pounds for a dog even though you only stay one night is unfair. Bathroom needed decorating and some maintenance. noise from upstairs bedroom and bar below bedroom. Nothing. Plumbing noises. Decor needs updating. It was rather easy to hear conversations in the room next door (in the outside block). Wife took a shower which was a stop and start job , ending -up being cold. This ,it transpired had been reported the day before by previous occupant but no one seemed to have logged it on the Computer.Air-lock in pipe line, +handbasin produced a minor trickle from Hot-tap ! needs a new Washer."! DIrty,(sugar encrusted cup ) in daughters other room.
