We were out most of the time, however when we had a query, the staff were more than happy to help. The purpose of this trip was that my son is going to work in the USA and so we needed to get a visa from the American Consulate which is close by so that is why we chose the hotel which is good for location. Our stay was very good and I would certainly recommend it to anyone going to Belfast. Thanks.
all reviews » The space of the room. Even with one double bed and two single beds, wach person staying in the room felt a great deal of personal space. For the price i believe we got value for money as i felt at home.Reception and conference staff were excellent. Some catering staff were poor (those at evening gala meal) Seamus was a star throughout. Gerry from the hotel was a great guy and I will be looking to basemyself thier every time I go over(1/2 times every couple of months). As well as all of the above, ease of access from M1, and proximity to city centre. Friendly staff, near to the centre of city, good value.it was handy to the city but away from the hustle. Helpful staff and exceptional manager Mr Toner. Helpful staff and clean, modern surroundings. The residents bar and lounge. The spaciousness of the hotel and especially our room.Good locationthough a bit of a walk into the shops etc.but plenty of places to eatand it was interesting to see Queen's university which was near thehotel.Very helpful to be able to park at the hotel. One of the few hotels in Belfast that still have smoking rooms. Filthy habit I know but needs must!. Close to all the pubs, it did what it said on the tin....excellent andstaff were brilliant xx. Location was ideal as we were visiting our nephew at Queens University and exploring the city.Closeness to city center, and interesting buildings,also the hub of people at night. I liked the options for meals in the evening - either more formal or more informal.Hotel staff were more than helpful and actually seemed pleased to help. Staff are very good and very helpful. 1st class. comfortable and the services offered are good. had to pay for car parking. Charging guests for carparking. I was sorry there was not a pool on site.Hard beds. I did not like the breakfast. There were flies witting on the Danish pastries and the coffee was luke warm and not nice!. Hotel is showing its age, and lobby is a bit shabby in decor. The opening hours on Boxing Day. (Not open until 5pm). In spite of the smoking ban there is an unmistakeable smell of smoke in some areas. could hear the late night pub revellers on the street from room. One of the rooms not cleaned but remedied very quickly to all satisfaction. internet connection normally disrupted. Room could have been heated better. Breakfast could give a bit more variety. having to pay for parking. Very nice room, but the lighting [electrics] in the room was not good......there was no way to have side lights on without the main lights!. Heat in the rooms - very hot. Room was slightly too warm (admittedly you can't please everyone on this).none come to mind. I went into a room which smelt of cigarettes so that can't have been checked. I was put into a new room which was very good but in this room there was no bathrobe and the iron didn't work. was too busy to complain about this. Also I ordered a Belfast Telegraph and didn't get it.No air conditioning made the stay uncomfortable. Lack of heating in my room. Bit noisy at night with so many events going on-especially as we overlooked the car park and when returning at night-out front. I didnt understand so well if the breakfast is not included at all or something yes but Irish breakfast not. window from bedroom overlooked wall and roof so no view but that was unavaoidable as hotel full and we had not paid for a view. Would have liked heaters outside at night on veranda. food is not the greatest.
