Location perfect as attending wedding at the Vu Bathgate, Staff at breakfast were brilliant, excellent customer service and choice of breakfast was brilliant, plenty of choice. One lady in particular although I'm sorry ididn't get her name was very good and looked after my grandson, he was spoiled.
Staff at reception on arrival very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us, went above and beyond! Also in morning at breakfast the lady serving was also very welcoming and helpful! Had a great overnight stay and would definitely stay again. 5 star service *****. all reviews »
Staff were very friendly and helpful at the hotel. Asked for another duvet for my mother and it was delivered to the room within 5 minutes of asking.
Great breakfast selection which was good value as it was included in the room rate.
Staff was amazingly helpful, hotel was clean and breakfast although not a buffet, you can order how much you like.

Staff got us in a bit early because I was using it as a base for my daughters wedding and I needed to get dressed in time to be picked up from the hotel, they were great, even brought us coffee to our room.

The room was clean, bright, warm, different pillows to try, spacious, coffee/tea filled up each day.
The staff was fantastic they where always happy to help, and my bed was great best nights sleep I've ever had at a hotel! And the breakfast well worth £8.95 can not fault this hotel.

The Toby cavern next door was shocking! The food was cold the staff unhelpful haven't a good thing to say about it! Quite shocked that the hotel worked with them!.
There was nothing I didn't like.
only stayed there one day!.

Bed was a bit to firm for us, and the double bed only had 1 power point
on one side of the bed so I could not sit on my side of the bed a charge
my computer. Also paid £3 to have 24 hour internet access but the speed
was only 1 mbps which is very slow and I was unable to watch the bbc
iplayer as it kept buffering.
Advertised at £29 but how do you get these rates.

Strange smell in room even Though it was clean.

Not getting checked in till 2 I clock as had wedding at that time.
When we walked into the room there was a terrible smell, used some of my perfume to lift the smell.
Husband didn't like the pillows!!.
