wasn't intrusive but very approachable. The parking at the rear was
excellent, and we were permitted to park there until late on the last
day of our holiday so we could stay in Ambleside for the lantern parade

This was a great holiday and a great place to stay -
A spotlessly clean family run B&B, with lovely owners and staff, right in the centre of Ambleside. I can't wait to visit again. Extreemly comfy beds and an amazing choice for breakfast. (Try the bacon, it is the best I've tasted in many years!) I've stayed in Ambleside before on many occasions, but this was my first time at Wordsworth's. I'm glad I found it!

The staff were the most friendliest people we have ever come across!

The location was ideal for walking in the town of Ambleside and to get a boat ride to the other locations such as bowness.
The breakfast was wonderful and there was a wide variety of options to choose from.

The spotless room, it was ever so comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious! Plenty of choice. Ola and Peter were exceptionally friendly and cheerful and really made you feel welcome. Loved the complimentary bottle of water and biscuits that we received in our room on both days we stayed. Location is great, it is in walking distance of all the shops in Ambleside. We did a lovely walk to Grasmere while we stayed there. In the welcome book there's lots of suggested walks that you can do,

Lacet House is in a great location, very close, literally to the town centre of Ambleside. The host Catherine made my 83 year old mother and I very welcome. We received old fashioned hospitality. It is a small guest house so it feels like bringing your lounge room! We booked 6 months ahead from Australia ans got a very competitive rate. Very good

Such a lovely place to stay where the owners were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. They went above and beyond expectations! Great location right in the middle of Ambleside. Modern well presented rooms with very comfortable beds! We had a great choice of breakfasts and they even have parking spaces! ( rare in Ambleside). We will definitely be returning for another visit! Great location for seeing the Lake District and our hosts Sharon and Paul were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in making our stay better. Breakfasts were good and the room facilities were modern and spotlessly clean. The view of the countryside from the window was brilliant.

Sharon and Paul were great hosts, providing very attentive and friendly service. Our room and ensuite were both a good size and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was generous, tasty and provided many options. The location to Ambleside town centre was very handy, but a little walk uphill on the return. Would highly recommend using Wynford Guest House as a base for exploring the Lake District.

The best b&b we have ever stayed in, fantastic hosts( jeanette & Steve), clean and delicious homemade cakes on arrival and the best breakfast. We will be visiting again very soon and have recommended it to friends and family who visits Ambleside regularly.
