My wife and I have been traveling in various regions of Turkey, and we wanted to experience a little bit of small-village life.The village of Sirince was an ideal choice since it was a mere 20 minutes from the tourist destination of Ephesus, yet afforded us the ability to retreat to the greater tranquility of a small village in the mountains. This hotel provided us with a charming, spacious room (called Plum) in a 300- year old building. It had all creature comforts, and had windows on 3 sides,.
all reviews » Loved the warm and accomodating staff. Vintage building, amazing countryside breakfast with marmalades from fresh village grown fruits and amazing cheese. The hotel's own restaurants had some amazing local dishes (seasonal veggies with local herbs, eggplant, yogurt/garlic/eggplant soup). Our room was large, well decorated and just generally amazing . We went with the right expectations - this is a vintage, old village in the mountains and they do a really good job of giving you that experien. The staff and owners were incredibly friendly, going out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and at home. The hotel is set in a beautiful and historic village set high in the hills. Many of those who work at the hotel are from the village and are wonderful hosts and so kind. The rooms are well laid out and very comfortable with old, beautiful hand made wood furniture that feels both very authentic but also comfortable. And the restaurant attached is great. Stunning little village close to Ephesus (10 mins) & Kusadasi (20 mins). The atmosphere was great, the people extremely friendly. If you are looking to experience a true gem of a village then this is the place to stay. Little cobbled streets, locals selling their goods, restaurants, wine tasting. Great food & wine great. We loved the village the atmoshhere and the lovely walks. Breakfast was ok but very limited for the price. The restaurants food that was advised by the staff-Kirkinka was very good. We found the Kirkinka Hotel overpriced if compared to what we got in Istanbul. We loved Mustafa who was amazing. Friendly and warm atmosphere. Very cute village to stay and enjoy traditional food, local produced wine, soaps, etc. Fresh air and green environment. Very close to historical places (Ephesus) and even close to seaside (20-25 km). The surroundings and people were fabulous. The village is highly recommended. This family business with the politeness of Mustafa is a must when visiting Turkey! Also do unlimited tea and coffee on terrace or inside if not so warm. Will stay here again. Located in the beautiful village of Sirence, 10-12 miles from Ephesus and 5-6 miles from Selcuk. Unique quaint location surrounded by hillsides of grape, olive and fruit trees. The staff at Kirkinca Hotel were very accomodating and helped us to settle in very easily by bringing us dinner to our remotely located cottage. my room was beautiful and comfortable. the hotel itself had so much charm and was located in a spectacular location. Goos food at hotel and in associated restaurant. It takes a little bit of effort to drive to this village, and to navigate the tiny, narrow stone streets, but you will be rewarded by lovely scenery along the way, warm and friendly people, and a great sleep. Nothing. The Kirkinca hotel is fabulous. The hotel is overpriced compared to Bella and Femi Bey in Istanbul The Restaurant has a view over a back yard with lots of rubish to look at while you eat. That was really bad. Table cloths were dirty (at the restaurant ). Nothing. It is difficult to locate -make sure you ask staff for specific directions. FYI, you will need your own car to arrive at the hotel as Syrince is located in the mountains. had trouble with the wifi. Bathrooms are old school and you need to be careful when taking a shower. It's a minor thing. I highly recommend the hotel. It was a noisy night. This is more of a pansyon. The room felt like a room in a house. I didn't care for the bathroom because when showering, water got everywhere but other than that it was very cozy. Extremely over priced , the breakfast wasn't the best. Tired and shabby building, not boutique as described on your website. Potted plants dying and with weeds. Shower room flooded. Windows il fitting and couldn't open. Dusty. Poor repair throughout.Disappointing and poor value apart from food.
