The staff was very friendly and ready to help in e dry way. I was looking for local vegetarian food, they recommended a place drove me there and pick me up after dinner. The rooms were very quiet for a hotel next to the airport. I am a light sleeper and I sleep well, there were no noise form airport. Overall it is a great place to stay if you are there for a short period of time and need to be near the airport. Highly recommend.
all reviews » We had booked a suite room because we have 2 small children, but it was unavailable. The staff was helpful in giving us two rooms next to each other for the same price. The staff was helpful in calling us a taxi for a dinner out, and providing the early shuttle service to the airport. I was also amazed that the breakfast was put out so early. Our children were able to grab a sandwich before our 5 am departure to the airport. The hotel and breakfast was very good. However, no shuttle service was available when we reached the arrival hall in the airport, and there was not any sing of hotel that we could find it. After asking some people, we had to walk about 20 minutes on foot to find the hotel. If using shuttle becomes more clear and efficient, this a nice airport hotel. The hotel was only a 5 minute walk from the airport (although in the evening our walk was not entirely lit.) There are very convenient shuttle vans between the airport and hotel, though. Although we thought that noise from the airplanes would be an issue, we didn't hear a sound in the room. Good soundproofing! Also, the room was well decorated. Having flight at 8.20 we could wake up at 6.30 and still have enough time to eat delicious breakfast with the best turkish tea I have ever drink. The free of charge shuttle service took 3 minutes. It is greate hotel for spending a night when you arrive to Izmir late or coming back at the morning. This hotel is located within 5 min ride via their shuttle van of the airport. The staff is friendly and efficient and we had a satisfactory (Alfredo noodles) meal at the hotel restaurant. The new hotel is well insulated and equipped, and we were not bothered with noise. The female desk clerk in the afternoon gave us a fabulous recommendation for a waterfront lunch spot in Izmir and information about the metro. Room was very modern, comfortable and reasonably priced. We were checked in promptly and were made to feel welcome. The room was beautifully decorated. As we were tired after our flight, it was great to be able to make a cup of tea in our room. We would definitely stay again when we next fly into Izmir. For people who arrive late at Izmir airport of have to fly early this hotel at 600m from the airport offers a very good opportunity. Extremely nice rooms, clean and cosy. It was October, so they had turned the aircon off, but the weather was hot and, so were the rooms. The atmosphere is a bit sterile in contrast to hotels on the beach or in the old part of Izmir where we generally prefer to stay if we were not having to catch an early flight. The evening male night clerk who was seriously less than helpful. My parents room on the third floor was a bit noisy with the central air conditioning system. Nothing. The room was on the road side - a little noisy if windows open; Strangely, there was no top sheet, or duvet, and the cover was not especially comfortable to sleep against. The breakfast was great if you liked fish, meat, cheese, eggs. Otherwise a bit limited. TV limited for UK guests - BBC World only. Air conditioning for cooling isn't available before mid April, only heating option until then. breakfast seemed better than most of the hotels we stayed in Europe, but it should have been more rich to show divine Turkish breakfast culture. Nothing at all it was an excellent choice of hotel. Not all front-desk staff members understood English clearly. I regard this as essential training for any front-desk staff as they will regularly need to interact with non-Turkish speaking foreigners. I got bitten by a mosquito in the restaurant. Not at all the hotel's fault, but the power went out several times during the night. If you pay cash you get change in T.lira and that you don't need when you fly home. Nothing. By the time the airport shuttle had arrived and had waited for more people to fill it it would have been quicker to walk!. -. It is not actually in the airport terminal (as advertised). Though an easy 5-min walk, getting there isn't immediately obvious. Free shuttle compensates for this though. Location. A bit expensive but is very convenient. Nothing.
