Caretta Caretta is an excellent place to find peace of mind. The penison is run by a very warm-hearted and hospitable family. Durmus, the owner, is an incredibly patient person with a lot of humour, but also knowledge, e.g., about local plants and animals. But also his father is a driving force on the site and his mother is a loving woman and a fantastic cook, who offers so tasty and fresh food (for breakfast and optionally dinner) with lots of vegetables and fruits from their own (organic) gar.
all reviews » This place is awesome, starting from the name. We stayed for just two days but we want to come back for a week or two. Cirali is magic. Caretta Caretta cabins are immersed in a green garden, in a quiet spot not far away from the beach, which you can reach on foot or with bikes - quite a few of them, freely available to the guests. What about having a private hammock? Our cabin had two. Dormus and his family are so nice, very friendly and welcoming, they will make you feel at home, and part of t. Everything here is nice, Francesca from Italy said it all. If you like animals the place is great for you, chickens running all aroud, 2 cats, perfect showers with hot water. if you want 5star luxury hotel, this is not for you, if you want 5 star luxury for yourself this is for you :) We was coming to cirali just for 2days or something, but because of cirali & caretta caretta staff & place, we decided to be here rest of the vacation. Perfect for nature lovers! :) PS: they serve dinner . Carretta Carretta is a small family run pension. Durmus and his father look after their guests with great care and so we felt very welcome. We enjoyed the meals we ate there immensely and found that the location of the pension was just perfect. We loved being able to use the pension bikes to get around and went home feeling we'd had a wonderful holiday, exploring, stuffing ourselves with great Turkish food, and making the most of the fantastic surroundings and weather. My boyfriend and I had a lovely relaxing stay. We liked the warm welcome and hospitality from Durmuş and his parents. Incredibly helpful and amiable, we have recommended to everyone to stay here. Delicious breakfast and dinner, even my boyfriend who doesn't usually have anything in the morning couldn't resist. We also enjoyed playing table tennis and cycling around. Fantastic couple of days, we would have liked to stay longer if we hadn't had to come home :(. Aboslutely fantastic experience. The owner is a super kind guy. Very clean apartment, deeply in the nature. Best restaturant in Cirali with the fantastic "mother" in the kitchen: 7 dinners and all of them have been fantastic with organic products (vegetables, chicken etc). Breakfast is the best we had in Turkey: you cannot finish and be still hungry! Ten minutes by bike (free) from the beach. AWESOME! We will come back for sure if we visit Cirali again!. Owner very friendly and helpful. Relaxed and quiet rural setting. Good food and drinks. Close to good beach. Chickens roaming around gardens, genuine Turkish feel. Pension is quite a long way (walk) from main facilities but well sign posted. Recommended. Lovely to sit outside on the verandah in a charming garden. Cant complain nothing, maby the only "bad" thing is that the food is so good that it is possible to get few extra kilos :). Nothing, of course!. Only 7 days... unfortunalely. We missed the legendary home cooking as chef away that week. A little far from the beach, but very manageable with bikes provided. It is rural so take ear plugs for rooster chorus. Nothing. Not a thing!. Only the location. It might be a problem to come to Cirali centre and to the beach, if you dont like riding bicycles. Bedding was a bit skimpy, especially for cold weather. Location. A bit of a walk from the beach. We saw other options far closer to the beach in the same price options once we landed there. not that much. floor of restaurant could maybe have been cleaner. there were 4 hammocks, but no other relaxing chairs or beds.
