I liked literally everything! First, we arrived late without prior warning, after the check-in hours, but the owner let us in without any problem. Second, breakfast was spectacular, something we had never had! The room was cosy and clean, the magnificent swimming pool always ready to welcome you. A very good place to relax after you have returned from the historical park on a hot day. Thai women offer real Thai massage. Nature, flowers, birds... Bike rental just across the street, a 10-minute c.
all reviews » The staff were extremely helpful and interesting to talk to. They have a small restaurant area which offers an amazing breakfast that the owner provided for us. Best breakfast on the whole trip. The hotel has a lovely large swimming pool which we had to ourselves at times. The bedroom appears quite small but the design is nice with a 4 poster bed...quite romantic, especially after the places we had been staying in. The hotel is in a very peaceful setting so you're sure to get a good night's sle. We liked everything here, we didn't want a heavy built hotel and wanted to be near the historical park ... it was exactly what we found. When we arrived they were expecting us making us feel at home. We loved the breakfast and the friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. And it was very convenient that just in front we were able to rent a bike to go to the park. the room is very nice decorated, good bed, beautiful bed. The entire place is very well planned and decorated. Good swimming pool. Great breakfast. Rental bicycles just across the street (a must to visit the historical park). This is a stylish guesthouse very close to the historical park in old Sukhothai with lovely gardens, traditional Thai furnishings and a very individual and knowledgeable owner, Paolo who loves the place. This hotel is def good value for our money. they had a map of the old city which made it easy for us to explore the place. hotel as such is really peaceful and very quiet. The guesthouse is located just outside the centre of new Sukhothai (about 50 baht by tuktuk). The pool is welcoming and the houses are set in a nice, green environment. We liked everything. The bed was quite hard and the design/colours of the bathroom could be updated. Although the hotel is in a peaceful location, walking to the old town to sample the local restaurants takes 25 minutes and in the dark, this can be quite unnerving as there are no lights around. Walking to the new town is not feasible. nothing, we really recommend this hotel!. No restaurant serving food after breakfast. Quite far out from the main city, but very close to the historical park which is where most if not all of the tourists go. A lot of mosquitos but this is true of the area so take repellant. The mattresses are hard but I have had some harder ones during our trip. - not many good restaurants nearby (not even in the old town for which you need to rent a bike to get there) - beds were rather hard (thin matrasses) - mosquitos around so use repellant. Very simple bathroom. The owner of this guest house doesn't care about his guest. Very special person playing a game with guests by being friendly and unpleasant in the same minute... bed a little hard and lack of wifi. The beds were very hard but we were still able to sleep well. A/C and bed would be improved. For paying by Visa card, 3% was added. Not enough space for the clothes. Breakfast is the same everyday. Strange owner and bed very very hard bed. Not really any negatives to be honest thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. our room was a bit scruffy and dark (but definitely clean) breakfast could be a bit more diverse for people who stay for more than 1 or 2 nights, b. No wifi, only paid pc internet connection. Waterstream in shower not very strong. No free wifi 50 baht per hour The owner was away when we visited and the rest of the staff did not speak English very well. The beds were really hard. The walk to Sukothai historical park. Our room was definitely in need of updating. It needed a coat of paint (to cover the water stains), new furniture, and some basic repairs to the walls. They made the beds & replaced the towels everyday, but didn't do other things that one normally expects from a hotel, like replacing the toilet paper and emptying the trash. We have stayed in several Thai hotels at this price range, and the level of service and room quality is usually much nicer. We are used to sleeping in hard beds but this felt like a sheet was pulled over a table. I travelled around thailand and all the hotel,resort and guesthouse give to u free wifi here u pay 50bath per 1 hour. Wifi very expensive and lack of communication with staff because they dont speak english. Owner was rude in the morning, we had the night bus from bangkok so we checked in at 6am, which was opening time. But the Italian owner send us away, we can comeback at noon. No point of discussion possible, otherwise we would have paid an extra night or whatever. Also it is 35minutes walking from the old city. My book confirmation said that I had mini fridge in my room, but once there I didn't have, the director said that only 2 rooms have mini fridge. hard bed. Bad location. To much bird...noisy. Small Bungalow inside. - the bed (impossible to sleep in) - hard to communicate with the staff - breakfast is a nightmare for those who dont eat sweet stuff in the morning.
