Lovely setting & gardens, very well trained staff, understood all our request and very proactive, little extra's such as herbal pillows very nice touch good pool and excellent service with deck chairs and umbrellas pool guy knew we were a group and would arrange group sitting for us without us requesting. Great happy hour excellent cocktails. Very good breakfast almond croissants as good as French ones. Very nice setting for breakfast, fresh juice and good quality food.
all reviews » A fabulous hotel set in beautiful gardens. Location at first looked remote but we found many restaurants just along the beach to the right of the hotel front area. Lovely kids pool away from hotel main area where we were almost alone in a beautiful setting and pool with our grandchild. Breakfast was very nice at hotel and snack type lunch good too. Pool area has pleasant attendants ,who even offer to clean your sunglasses ! All in all fab. Our air conditionning stopped working on the first night. We reported this to the Reception staff and went for dinner. After dinner we were told that maintenance had checked it out and that the compressor was broken. We were moved straight away to an even better room. Guest relations at this hotel are amazing. They look after you exceptionally well. The Pool Villas are lovely with private swimming pools and out-door baths/showers. Everything! The wonderful staff, the beautifully tended gardens and lily ponds, the choice in restaurants, the stylish rooms, the amazing breakfast selection, the surrounding villages, the entertainment in the resort, etc, etc. We totally loved this place and will be back with family and/or friends. They have everything I expect from a five-star hotel. Very serene and private atmosphere. Great place for honeymoon couples or people seeking tranquil retreat. The hotel staff were friendly yet professional with kind hospitality. The breakfasts were superb, and the hotel facilities were in good conditions. Excellent breakfast and very good food in bar and in restorant, gentle service. Nice club for children, but no activity to small children under 4. I like that they have sand area nearby the child pool. Because the beach is not really comfortable for children to go. (need to across the street). A very comfortable bed and pillows, helpful and friendly staff, and a wonderful garden setting. Breakfast is always good at Evasons. Great environment design, like to pool view villa although the pool is kinda small but we enjoyed of staying there. Great breakfast!. Hard to fault to be honest but the bathroom area could do with clean up as around the shower/ bath had mould and could easily be fixed by using tiles instead of bare painted wall surround. A lot of works are going on at the beach front at the moment. The noise of this is distracting, but should be finished shortly as they work their way down the beach. The resort is far from a lot of places and it is easy to feel trapped, but it is a great place for a short stay. Bike rental too pricey so I rented from outside. Didn't have bedroom slippers. But it's just minor things. I will come back next holidays!. The car parking areas were muddy after the rain. No beach, under construction and the swimming pool was also close for changing the deck, it was not mentioned either in the hotel's website nor in your's. It was very disappointing and frastrating!. The children pool should have temperature control. It's too cold for children. Nothing at all.. It's far from Hua Hin main street and cikada night market about 30 km away. With a car is necessary to stay over the holiday. Does not mention road between pool and beach, beach not great, more sunbeds by pool needed,. Snake skins on the terrace ! The unconfortable chairs at the breakfast. The pool was temporarily closed for maintenance. We only had a few days but if we had stayed longer it might have been a bit remote. - no beach. Noisy air conditioning unit in room, noise from guests in next room, noise from heavy plant operating on beach nearby. nothing. Restaurant serves "western" thai dishes which are much more expensive and not so good as real thai dishes. The hotel is not as clean as I'd expected. No fans in the breakfast area in the morning, at 9am the sun directly points at the dining area. Please amend this & provide ceiling fans or portable fans!. The furniture in room looks bad seems used for long time. A beach nearby was not good for sunbathing or swimming because it had construction there. However the reason I chose this hotel is also about having a beach nearby. Mostly staff member forgot do housekeeping until we called. None. Expensive excursions, maintenance of the houses and walkways not that well, eco friendly bullshit (a resort is by defination not eco friendly). To many young familes which made it noisy and uncomfortable when eating..with young children permitted to run free in eating areas. the room are not sound insoluted adequtely..room balcony faces hotel laundry area..which is in constant use. There is no access from the hotel to the beach. The beach is under construction so access is prevented and it doesn't seem to end soon. The nearest beach is 30 minutes walk. This information is not found on the hotel's website. The swimming pool was under construction when we stayed in the hotel, this was not advertised in time of booking. The hotel's reply was that they did inform in the website, and it didn't matter to them that on time of booking this information was not available. It was right at the beach but not a beach that we could swim or walk/play along. The hotel is overrated. This is not a five star hotel, three stars at best. The poolvilla is misrepresented on the website as being a open spacious villa which is not the case.All the rooms are overdue for a complete overhaul. There is no access to the beach. The hotel is not a five star resort. Three stars at best. The pool villa's are overdue for a complete renovation. The pool villa on the website does not compare to the reality. There are only 4 open villa's, the rest are all hideaway, enclosed. The shower and bath are outside. Ants all over the place. Would not recommend this resort to anybody. There is also no access to the beach. Between the hotel and the water front there is a road for cars. Evason charged my credit card before my stay. But at Asara which we stayed before charged my card when I arrive at their hotel. I've also booked rooms of 6 hotelsfor my trip to Japan on July, None of them charged me.
